Shaking his head, he turns to Roylenna, saying, "He may have been cursed... can you sense a dweomer on him?" then lowers himself heavily to the floor.

Sandros shrugs, looking tired. "A curse, as I said, but I truly do not know. We should probably get back to town, though, so we can find out."

She looks troubled, "I'm afraid you are right. Leaving the caves has risk, but I'm afraid that our bulwark," gesturing at the bugbear-broken door, "will no longer hide our presence. Staying would appear to be the greater risk. And if this is a curse, as you suspect, we will need more powerful help than Petra and I can provide, I suspect."
Ka'kara finally returns and after overhearing some of the discussion about the axe and whether to stay or not she says, "Could be a similar curse such as the one that affected Vladoff, I say we head to the temple immediately. Angry spirits are not to be trifled with." She noticeably watches Mahaffy warily from this point forward, making an effort to position herself so she can quickly cut him off if he goes insane and attacks anyone else but her.

Sandros, Ka'kara, Roylenna and Felicia shouldn't we kill the sleeping goblins? If they wake up we will be in trouble.

"I think if we are leaving, we can let them sleep. It will frighten their friends more to know we could have killed them and left them than just finding them dead. Or, they are goblins -- maybe their friends will kill them for us."
The goblins don't have anything particularly interesting except a handful of gold pieces. All in all you gather 18 gp and 7 silver.

I guess you'll head for the inn before the bugbear brings back reinforcements, . You see a few large shapes passing over your heads and hear an unearthly howl somewhere in the far distance, but other than that your journey to Roadside Inn is uneventful, and it's daytime by the time you get there.

After his first outburst , Mahaffy has been quiet . For those looking at him , hz looks tense and even twitch from time to time .
One at the inn , he begins to make a serious dent into the beer's reserve.
So I suppose you'll stay awhile at the inn to let Sandros and Ka'kara recuperate. Mahaffy on the other hand, looks more pale and sullen every day.

We need to find a high level cleric to remove the curse.

Ka'kara wants nothing to do with the axe and eyes it warily. However, reluctantly, she admits the need to take it to the priest but leaves it to the people with a better sense of how to handle such dangerous things safely. She does offer to carry the reluctant dwarf if he wants to make things too difficult.
"Well, Mahaffy, if you think that the axe is fine, we won't worry about it. But we still need to get these two," gesturing at the warriors, "to a cleric, so we should go to the temple in town."
Turning to the others, "Do we wait here to see if your strength returns, or do we head to town at first opportunity?"
"We should go... at first opportunity," Sandros says, still weak. His eyes are fixed on Mahaffy and the axe, however. "We need to seek help as quickly as we may."
Everybody just cool down. Mahaffy should have some more beer and you need a rest. Mahaffy probably wants a lot more beer I like this place.

Hey guys, I'm really sorry but I fear the time has come to end this game. I've been having a blast as I've said numerous times, but work is eating me up from the inside, and I think we've lost some momentum anyway.
