I'm in for the Olympia one, if anyone gets that up and running. Seattle's a bit of a trip for me to make every month, but Gabby's is close by :)

Scarab Sages

Was anything firm ever decided about this?

Shadow Lodge

I hope something can be...I'm excited to actually get to play :)

So it would appear that the first four PFS scenarios are available for download and play.

Do we want to try to run Silent Tide and/or The Hydra's Fang Incident at the September Seattle Mob Game day on the 13th?

If so, who would be willing to GM or play?

I would totally be up for this. I'd rather play than DM (never DM'd a convention/organized game like this), but if necessary I could do so.

Well, ideally we would coerce those folks who played or GM'ed the modules at GenCon into running for us.

It looks like we have at least one willing GM for the 13th of September. Right now the plan is to run Silent Tide and The Hydra's Teeth Incident. Mustering one table each slot (2-slots total) should not be a problem.

If we muster more interest, we will need to locate more willing GM's.

Log me as interested. I'll do my best to be there, but as I'm travelling from Silverdale (and a bit of a family man), my attendance isn't reliable enough for me to volunteer to run.

I'd hate to have to cancel at the last minute and tank an entire table if I were slotted to DM.

We obviously need to convince some of the Paizonians to come over from Bellevue. ;-)

Honestly? I'm still hoping for a table to form at the Game Matrix. That would practically guarantee my attendance. Bellevue is hard.

I'll go wherever to get my fix. :-D

Scarab Sages

dammit! why is there never anything in the northeast? why is it always in the west or the south? I'm half tempted to try and organize something in montreal or boston or something. except i'm too lazy. well, i'm willing to go to something in that area if someone wants to put it together (preferably montreal. give us canadians some love!).

Liberty's Edge

I am the one willing GM Chris mentioned earlier for the 13th! I played all four games at Gen Con and had a blast! So for those interested, go ahead and make a character and post it to your pathfinder society number. This way I can look over the sheets and have all the paper work ready to go so when we get together we can get right into it.
You need to sign up to the society before we play!!!! We need at least 4-6 people to play, no more than 6 per game!

If their is enough interest for a gathering on the Sat. Sept. 6th at the Game Matrix I will reserve a table????????

Count me in for some September 13th action. I'll have my character all set up by this weekend. Now I just gotta figure out how this Seattle Mob Muster site works. :)

I have to agree with you there -- the Mob Muster Site is not exactly easy to use. The main problem is that it uses an RPGA number as the unique identifier (it is really just a database front end) for the player. I think we can spoof it by having folks use their Pathfinder Society number -- though if there is a digit count requirement this may not work. Can someone attempt this and see if it works -- if not let me know and I can get folks some RPGA numbers (I have some at home).

Zoomackulas Eichendar, thanks for volunteering to GM this.

It would be most excellent if we could get more volunteer GM's.

kessukoofah, abandon your east coast ways -- move to Seattle. We will game with you here, honest.

It allowed me to register an account using my PFS# in place of an RPGA#. So, we should be okay on that front. Are RPGA numbers significantly longer, so we don't run the risk of somebody's PFS# conflicting with another registered member's RPGA#?

RPGA Numbers are six digits or more.

If you are able to register, you should now be able to sign-up for a slot/module by clicking Sign Up and then selecting the modules you want to play. Once you are signed-up for a module/slot you can also check the I want to GM this box if you want to GM it.

Let me know if folks run into problems.

I'd be willing to drive down for this, as long as the module being run isn't one of the ones that'll be run the next week at the Mob.

I will be running The Silent Tide and The Hydra's Fang Incident on the 13th so I could run the other two at the Games Matrix! Their is no order that you have to play the scenarios so we are free to run whatever we want!

I am not seeing any place to click for the GM this game????

Zoomackulas Eichendar wrote:

If you are registered on the Mob Site, make sure you are Logged In. In the left-hand navigation panel, click Sign Up.

Next to the module you want to judge/play click the Sign Up button.

(Not sure if this next step always appears, click Add Me.)

You should then be in the Player Signup screen. In the center of the page there is a box for I'd like to judge this slot!!!. Click that box and then click Sign Up.

That should sign you up as the GM for the slot and module in question.

Let me know if this doesn't work.

Just to let folks know, it sounds like there is a push to have some Pathfinder Society scenarios run at Oroboros Games in Bellevue (WA).

I don't know of the details yet, but the owner, Steve, seems pretty motivated to have this happen. I have encouraged him to post the details here and on the PaizoCon Meetup Group.

Cheers,

CJ

For what it's worth, I'd be willing to help GM scenarios after I've played them. If we get a regular stable of GMs, maybe we could try to organize a Slot 0 system to minimize the number of adventures each person has to eat.

I think this is a capital idea. I too would be willing to run once I have played.

So far we look like a party of mostly Qadirans!! Which I find most auspicious.

Well, two Qadirians, an Ossiran and two unlabeled folks. But one has to wonder whether Meegon knows what he's signing up for, since he claims to be second level which is impossible if he's never played either of these two adventures.

Pfah. We have no interest in oppressing anyone. We simply feel it is our duty to provide an excellent product at a comfortable price, and with us around to do that, it's quite unnecessary for anyone to bother trying to compete. One might even say it's quite rude of them.

Meegon is my character!!!! He made 2nd level after I played the third adventure. He is there because I was having issues with the mob web site at the time.

Right, you're the other Qadiran. I meant the folks who "labeled" their characters on the mob muster site. Chendl Biss and Meegon (who I see will not be joining us as a character after all) don't have factions listed in their character bios.

Chendl's mine. I gave him a little bio and everything but got an error message when I tried to post it so I just cut it.

He's Andoran.

However, if y'all are Qadiran, maybe I'll switch. Since we seem lacking in the wizard department, and I happen to have a really cute mini of an Arabic wizard, I might go that way.

Truth is, I really like wizards, but the PFS rules don't allow for magic item crafting, and that kind of bugged me.

Or you could become an Osirian. Just, y'know, to balance out the Qadirans. ;-)

Post your charaters here! Just make an alias under your pathfinder society number where it says register a new charater on the pathfinder society page!!! I think this will be used to track things in the future but I think they are still working on things at this time.

Characters look good and the party seems well rounded so far, might need a arcane person though. Some ranged attacks will help out a lot also. I played my ranger and he did really well from far away but I think it was my new pathfinder dice which rocked!! ;-)

Well, there was a fellow around here a bit ago named Chendl, I believe he said he was an archer. But he wandered off somewhere muttering something about becoming a wizard. No idea what that was all about.

I must say, I'm fond of shooting folks in the face before they've had the chance to get their wits about them...

How about a human sorcerer (undead bloodline) from Osirion? Name Imhotep.

This is assuming I can make the drive all the way down from Bellingham. We'll see.

Yoinks! We are at max capacity for the second slot and over by one for the first. If we get any walk-in's we are going to need another GM.

Has there been any development on a Games Matrix session? It's probably too late to arrange for the 6th if it's not already happening, but I'm pretty sure I'd be free to drive down on the 20th...

I'm a maybe for the 13th as well. I'll post on the local yahoo group to see if Doug, Craig or Tavis are interested in playing or judging. We can all caravan down from Bham as well.

Err, wait. Did you use the beta rules to create your character, or are you doing it in 3.5 now, and just keeping a bloodline in mind for the conversion to 3.P next year?

I think Mr. Dezotell (Imhotep) is headed down from Bellinghamster to the Game Day.

But we ARE going to need another GM.

Another plea for a second GM to run Pathfinder Society modules at the Seattle Mob Game Day on September 13th in Redmond, WA.

CJ

Scarab Sages

This won't help for the 13th, but we're preparing to start running Pathfinder society events at Oroboro Games & Books in Bellevue as well, so more options are about to appear. We'll post in a separate thread with details here shortly.
