Wasn't there supposed to be digital content?

4th Edition

Maybe I am mis-remembering it.

Maybe I am just confused (insert snappy comeback here).

I thought the core books were supposed to come with a cd/dvd with some digital content? Does anyone know if this was ever mentioned?

The digital content was SUPPOSED to be online offerings in the form of something called D&D Insider. As far as I know, they haven't put any of this content online yet.

I thought there was more than that...sort of a bonus to those who actually bought the books (as D&D Insider is open to everyone...with a small, nominal fee of course ;) )

When I have time tonight, maybe I will peruse the wotc site to see if I can find the article/news release that made me think this was the case.
