An idea for a game :the players and other adventurer are invited to attend a party in a remote castel.
The invitation is a ruse to get as many people there so they can be used in an assassin guild initiation test ,the assassin who kill the most gest in the winner and the rest are murdered to insure secercy.
Each assassin (im thinking of making 13 of them )is unique and use a different way to kill.
The PC must survive the night and escape this deathtrap and mabey take the fight to the assassin guild(probably in an other chapiter of the game.
what do you think??
Any comment is appreciated

It sounds fun. The number of assassins though implies a large number of victims. So what you may need to do is set up a kind of 'red herring' plot. Basically what this means is that the feast is for a reason that makes sense and makes the players think that there is another plot altogether than murder, so that only when a second and then a third murder takes place do they realize that something else is going on altogether.
For example, it could be about a peace treaty, a noble succession, planning an expedition, a tournament, just about anything.

Just keep in mind that several organizations which relied heavily upon assassinations had some rules in regards to how many unintended targets were considered acceptable losses. The more people that die, the more evidence there is that these organizations exist. Some organizations believed that their members kill none other than the target, and those who interfered. Some had rules requiring their members to kill several people using the same method, as a means of disguising who the true target was. Others had very strict regulations for determining who and how they were allowed to kill. Figure out which type you want to deal with.
Remember, there is a difference between a homicidal maniac and an assassin. One kills with little regard to reason or thought, the other is an assassin.
This thread also reminds me of the prestige quests from the Player's Handbook 2. Players who wanted to qualify for the Assassin prestige class would have to infiltrate a Noble's house for a day, kill the Noble's aid, impersonate the Aid for the remainder, and walk out the front door the next morning with the Aid's head in a bag/box; all of this would need to go unnoticed, untill after the assassin had escaped.
This could be the same basic thing, from the other side of the equation. I would say if you're going with this, to not make all of the PCs be the specific targets. Just two of them, but the group is normally together, so those assassins after those two must deal with all of them.
There should be a handful of higher-ups from the guild who are discreetly overseeing everything and watching the hopefuls. Each potential should only have 3 intended targets, of which they should only need to kill 2 "pass". Anyone who is caught in the act has the option to take out every witness, but if fail to do so, and the witness informs those holding the event, its an automatic failure, and the rest of the candidates are informed that the failed assassin is now "extra credit".
