Good luck, I'm sure its still really good.

bird6 is next to bird5 but dead. Keep in mind dino is huge. Birds, Jas and Jaden are large. It is 30 feet from U to dino, 50 feet from J or J to bird1 or bird5 * is icy/difficult terrain 20 feet centered on bird3.

So I re-read the rules on scorching ray and noticed I dont get the second ray until 7th level, so ignore the other ray. I didnt notice until after the post had been up to long to edit.

10 minutes a level, so 1 hour right now. Fun fight all

Fireball has a range of 560 ft, ill toss one as soon as they are within range. If you could let me know :D

Sorry I probably could have posted that. Trey has lost internet access for the foreseeable future. He hopes to be back, though so i am leaving him as npc.

When the Sea Wyvern sunk I think his mind did as well.

go ahead, you've got the range.

M Draco Electricus author 2, herper 4, canine exerciser 9,

Sorry I did not realize it had been this long since being posting last....

they will spend their first found getting within range. If you have an attack with a range greater than 45 please make it (Urdock did with the fireball). If you want a ranged under 45 you can wait for your second round or you can ready for them to close. The pteras have flyby so will start 45 feet out, attack, end 45 feet out. This provokes an AoO, so roll twice if you are in melee (as Fang is). If you have quickdraw (as Jaden does) you will actually make three such attacks (did that make sense?)

If you want (or have) my personal number to call me a flake please do so.

Curaigh wrote:

Uh... No.

Fang doesn't have quickdraw, but he doesn't need it as his furious flying fundamental fists of fantastic fangitude are always drawn...

Also even with quick draw "readying" is a standard action so you can't make a full attack if you ready, or am I missing something?

Fang gets two attacks: readied and AoO. If Jaden shoots first round he can switch and ready melee for second round, which when the AoO come. I will double check quickdraw, you might be right if his second round is ranged, but then he would not need to ready so it works out the same (I think?).

Jaden and Jas are still large for what it is worth.

So Cora how much did you steal from me? Like am I NAKED NAKED, or just without clothes and small items like wands you could take. Just need to know for both roleplay and factual reasons for the fight.

I just took clothing, anything small that would be needed was stealthily given back, IE wands and potions and whatnot. Naked is funny, but hindering the party not so much. *wink*

Male Dwarf Warmage / 7

Lol, ill operate on my having my scimitar then but no wands, and horror of horrors no pipe and tobacco ZOMG!!

Fang appears to jump up and put out the flames, but his stomping and smacking instead tears the birds into two parts, one large wing in each of his clawed hands. Jaden shoots into one lizard, chopping into it as it gets closer. It's attempts to open his skull are futile without life to power its muscles. Jas shoots into another, cutting into it and setting it afire.

Jas: 1d6 fire damage for the bolt and take an AoO. Anyone: finish the bird harpooned to the tree.

How many are left?

Hopefully I have answered that in playing thread since you posted this (caught me--not checking the dicussion page :(. One more though Jas AoO should end it. Anyone who wants to shoot it probably can after it leaves. flyby is a little more confusing on pbp than I would have guessed. Or maybe it is the lack of photos. I got a new printer with scanning options, if anyone can suggest a place to load photos I will see what I can do to make it visibly easier.

I've never used either, but I hear all the cool kids are using Flickr or Photobucket...

Just found out today we are having a boy. We decided to name him William Timothy. He is healthy and Jennifer (For those who know her) is doing fine. I was looking back and noticed my very first post for this game had to do with this kid :D

no worries pbp is not for everyone, but please let me know so I can add more folks or continue posting or not.

I posted so I guess that means I'm not lost, though the same can probably not be said for Fang...

Anyway, I think it was mostly the holidays throwing things off... Speaking only for myself of course.

Did you actually make it down to Ogden for t-day or was that just a vicious rumor spread by your enemies?

Indeed this was LOL!

Though I have had a lot more than two lol--(is e-ticklish a word?)

No on the T-Day. The rumor was started with me and I am my own worst enemy so I guess so. Nephew was being baptized on the 30th which was close to my birthday, which was close to Thanksgiving so had three reasons to be there that week. But as things happen, there were many more reasons keeping us here. Most of those will be over at the end of the semester, so new plan is to do UT post Christmas-pre new years. So about that snowmobiling trip...?

Curaigh wrote:

I might after this weekend. I do work on the 24th, we will not travel on the 25th,and I think Le has something going on the 2. Like I said I will know more later.

M Draco Electricus author 2, herper 4, canine exerciser 9,

I don't know how many of you are interested in RPG superstar, but would you be willing to critique my items? Or even tell which one I should develop? I will of course be willing to read and critique anything you want me to.

Man I suck. what little time I have been on the board the last couple of days has been spent on RPG superstar. However work starts tomorrow and with it the regular schedule.

I will also be e-mailing folks to see if we have lost anymore.

Hey All,

Sorry but Cora and Teaglin are going to have to disappear in the middle of the night. Some personal issues have come up and I'm not able to keep up with posting, not to mention we are losing internet for the forsee-able future.

Urdok should find a neat bundle of all his missing things {minus the hat :)}

I too need to take a short break, my obsession with RPG superstar has kept my posting to a minimum, but it paid off sort of. so until I am out of it for sure taking a break here. probably about a week, but if I am lucky a little longer. O:)

Male Dwarf Warmage / 7

Good luck guys and hope to see you back, Urdok will probably thing the bundle is the "waste" left behind from the clothes eating demon and might be a little leery of using the salvaged material.

OK so we are down to three. My break is over so if you three would like to continue let me know. I am done with RPGS for a while so will be checking the thread twice a day and posting at least once a day.

Are Jaden, Urdock, and Fang still interested?

Male Dwarf Warmage / 7

Hell ya i am :D

Male Dwarf Warmage / 7

Hey I watched Apocolypto last night, fantastic movie, and it gave me an idea to do a campaign loosely based on the movie and the eventual fallout that would have happened if the movie continued. To do it right I would need information on stone weapons and other items in the primitive DnD culture. Do you guys have any information or know of any resources that I could use for this?

Yep, count me in.

Love to have you realtom! I thought Jaden was the real tom. heh guess I need to check the aliases better!

One or two more would not go amiss.

how familiar are you with Savage Tide? We are a day's walk from the crash of the Sea Wyvern and we have a couple of survivors who have been nearly comatose if one of them would like to wake up and become a cleric that would be cool (if you would rather be from the isle I need a reason you would be this far north from settlements.)

Character gen

Spoiler:
I have a long list of character gen, but here is the short:
Abilities 4d6 x6 three times. (choose which set of six you want--the other two will have to stay home and watch the family farm :) playing a natural 3 has a bonus (revealed when you pick the three).
Standard 3.5 races plus bullywug, phanaton, lizardfolk and avanti.
Standard 3.5 classes plus favored soul, warmage, scout, swashbuckler.
clerics get additional domain powers at levels 5 and 10.
level is either party average (PL) (from the three remaining) or a d4 (1=PL-1, 2 low PL, 3=high PL, 4=PL+1)
Play what you want to play I will make the adjustment.

All I know about the Savage Tide I learned from the Lidu Diaries

Spoiler:
So I know that after the wreck we'll have to trek through the jungle while harassed by strange beasties, but don't remember any particulars. I like the diaries for Guy's characterizations. The exact plot is kind of blurry in my mind. It's been a while since I read the wreck passages and I don't think he writes up every encounter.
