My Shipping Address

I am concerned about my shipping address I entered for my account.

I have a 4-line address:

Name
Address Line 1
Address Line 2
City, State, Zip

Yet, every time I enter my address, the Address Line 2 does not appear, and it is not put on my shipped orders.

Sometimes it causes my packages to get delayed, other times it doesn't make it to me at all due to mis-handling.

Is there any way to get my address corrected so that all my shipments get my correct address?

Ugh...

I've looked into this and it appears that the address that your are entering is not being accepted as a "Standardized" USPS format by our address standardization software (which is the thing that properly abbreviates addresses and adds the ZIP+4 suffix).

So we'll need to work this out, and I'll need your help. The first step is to double-check your address with the local post office. Take a copy of your address as you are trying to enter it, and a copy of the address that appears on your mailing label when we send stuff to you (i.e. before and after standardization) and ask them what the properly formatted and standardized address is. I'll admit that they will probably look at you like you're crazy and tell you that it should look like what you already have. (I apologize in advance for this inconvenience.)

The reason this step is necessary is that our standardization software works perfectly for 99.99% of addresses. However a military address, which are usually somewhat irregular, is more likely to be in that 0.01% than most other US addresses.

Assuming that your post office tells you that your address is totally correct, the next steps will involve the two of us working directly with your address. I will send you an email with your complete address including Line 2, as well as some permutations that will pass the standardization. Please take these in with you to the post office and see if they will work with them as well.
