Does anyone have, or can anyone point me to, a complete list of all of the WotC 3rd and 3.5 edition hardcovers? In Excel format would be nice so I can slice and dice it...
If all you need is a list of the titles, that shouldn't be too hard to suss out of the WotC product section at their website.
You would think, but last time I looked they didn't have a single comprehensive list of hard cover releases. It is all broken down by Year or Product Line, or ... Nothing that says "Here is all of our hard cover releases pertaining to 3.0 and 3.5"
That's why I was hoping someone here had already compiled a list.
I'd love to see this list too.
A good place to start would be the copyright dates for each book. Any book with a copyright date after the one for the 3.5 version of the PHB should be a 3.5 book... and any thing before that should be 3.0.
Problem is I haven't actually got all the books... so I haven't got a comprehensive list.
If you do stumble across such a list please let us know!

If you look on the consolidated lists area on the wizards site they have drop down lists that show what the abbreviations mean. The drop down should cover about everything.

I used this site to compile a list of pre-Time of Judgment World of Darkness books so I could round out my collection and it was very comprehensive. I've also looked at some 2nd Edition D&D stuff on there but, again, I don/t know what their listings for 3.0 and 3.5 is like.

Nice resource. They haven't updated news since January and their WotC listings end in 2006 but it gives me another source!

Pen & Paper is a great resource for stuff like that. I have used it for looking up old edition stuff and quite liked it.

The closest thing to an excel file is the original WotC product listing, which you can find here:
The page is sortable by product name, product type, publishing date, brand (i.e. product category like FR, core etc.), and even authour name.
Plus: You are one click away from the product description.
Only downside: It includes *all* WotC products, but identifying non hard covers is pretty simple.

I stumbled across some others I forgot, mainly some of this year's FR Hardcovers, like Anaroch. I've sent the list out to some friends to help me check, but with Eberron and FR, the current total is holding at 89.

You're right about Ravenloft. Thanks! Every time I think I've got it nailed down, someone points out something I missed, which is great! For observant watchers, some will notice that I included Magic of Faerun, which is actually a TPB. I need to remove it, because if I don't I'll have to add all the other FR TPBs.
Don't think I'll include the children's books though.
And I forgot the Oriental Adventures books (OA and Rokugan at least). The list is nearing 100 total hardcovers...

Rokugan is an AEG product, not WotC.
