This is the
discussion
thread for
five
campaigns:
I wouldn't do knowledge skills but give it uses per day of various divination spells. Or uses per day of "mimir knowledge". After all we don't want to make the points that our sage puts into skills useless. If it has fixed skills it becomes useless eventually (except for aid another).
Perhaps a knowledge pool that allows it to "share skills" aside from divination spells.

Yeah a cooperative 'aid another' sounds like a good plan. Perhaps a +4 rather than the customary +2. With a lore master ability to add double that once a day
DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE
And a special crafting magic items reduction in DC ... Maybe reduce the DC to caster level only rather than 5+caster level.

Also the ability to act as substitute for rare or pricy components for divination spells.

Now you can both go down to the Gear Run District and build an Apparatus of Kwalish or something equally baroque and steampunky.

I think we all know how Karrin would go about disassembling our flying skull.

The game is not a railroad. I can work with it

We, of ALL the players I have ever seen, are most likely to get voted,
"Group that Never Does What You Expect Them To Do. No Matter How Well You Thought You Knew Them."
;P
Sorry? :)
DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE
Lol. It's all good. I'll kill you some other way ):)
LOL, :)
FYI, I'll be traveling this week.
(Taking kids to Space Camp, then coming BACK to do work that I can't get out of, Then going BACK to Space Camp,..[We just had our 20th anniversary, this is closest were getting to a second honeymoon!]) ;P
Short version (too late!) I'll be traveling a lot this week, but I will have access to Internet in between driving and other insanity. So I should be able to mostly keep up!
DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE
All good. I don't see any combat in the foreseeable future. Unless my random encounter dice get pissed at you
Humph.
Way my luck's been going, they'll be the ONLY thing not P!$$ed at me this week! ;P

Hi all. Finally home after a long two weeks. I'll get caught up and updated by tomorrow at the latest.

My college buddy-group used to refer to 'that' as
"The blue lightning bolt out of a clear sky"
Even if we were underground or in a building. ;P

Welcome back, hope all went well? Thanks! Yeah, went well. One of my more enjoyable work trips, actually. Got to see Florence for the first time, and parts of Turin I hadn't been to before (believe it or not, I counted, and this was my 21st trip there). Now I'm just exhausted, and trying to readjust myself to EST.
Lots of good stuff on the thread, though; it was fun getting back up to speed.
And Pat, Ekuur is now updated to level 10.

Ok. Quick question. Is it still Karrin scouting or full party advance? Just want to figure out the logistics.

Hamar will scout it's his job!

Karrin is/was unwilling to risk anyone else on this potential fools errand but if people come with her she's not going to turn them away. She wants to avoid combat if at all possible though. Whatever they might find on this side might be really dangerous.
So half go, half stay to rescue?
Justin is happy not to play in negative energy,... but he's really curious! :)

Arnav is not stealthy, nor does he know stuff. But he can hold off problems.
Personally I think that whatever's there is something that will require everybody to deal with.
Heh. Entirely probable. ;)

Memnon in a sack reminds me of my Tristan Lidu's journal where she also had a head in a sack that would occasionally talk with her. Course only Tristan could hear that voice (if it's not just a figment of her own imagination) and so happily Justin isn't going to be constantly struggling with the question of is the voice real? On the downside the voice is real and could get Justin into some real trouble in the future :D
LOL!
I need to catch up on my reading of that journal! I was doing so good.
And catch up on Justin's journal. (I plan to try to do at least one good entry [20-ish pages] per week.) But I've been busy and it's just so time consuming! Writing is hard! I have more respect for those that can (even if they aren't MY favorite authors) every time I start to type anything. :)
Sigh,... It was a fun week, but back to the grindstone now,...
Well, after the drive home tomorrow,... ;P
Trying, REALLY hard, to figure out a way to work in the quote "That's no moon!" but I'm just not seeing it at the moment. ;P
In my (usually able to quote any sci-fi movie in a heartbeat) defense, I've been nursing a migraine like, ALL day. seriously impedes my efforts to get work done. (Both real and fun work) ;P

That's ok, I couldn't resist the Hotel California reference as I described it :)

ROFL!
I luv it when old songs suddenly make sense again! ;P
Sorry about the long post guys.
I had a thought, and went with it, and it turned into a full on Justin ramble as I wrote it. :)
Hopefully he's worrying for nothing,... <Hint, Hint>
(I REALLY should stop giving the Dungeon Monkey Ideas,...) ;P

There, rant answered with another long spiel from Karrin. The strong gripy arms line is a call back to one of Karrin's earlier inner monologues when she was crushing on Isaac.

Sorry Hamar's posts tend to be long winded as well, the man just can't shut up! :-)
