I've added languages, race and class abilities, and spells. Would ya'll take a look and tell me if I've forgotten anything? (other than descritions of stuff)
Also, Patrick, please read the spells, feats, and equiptment with listed sources.- I want you (and everyone) to OK the odd stuff so I don't suprise you with anything and I'd rather you read them in the original. If you don't have access, I can add full descriptions.
p.s. "Cats and dogs living together! Mass Chaos!"
p.p.s. Additional cool armor stuff: (from Oriental Adventures- Dastana (req.s Armor Prof(light), can be worn -with- padded, leather, chain shirt, and shields): +1 armor bonus, -1 armor check penalty, 5% arcane spell failure, 5lbs, 25gp. description: large metal bracers (picture seems to include chain hand coverings as well) Perhaps useful for light armored types (who can carry more thal 20lbs).

Good Morning/afternoon all!
Wow. You folks have been busy while I slept. I am going to try and tackle the issues in detail here that have been raised.
Niel: I perused the Greep's stats&gear. The only question I have is getting a spell description on the Ancient Knowledge spell from the Eberron Book o magic. (the only Eberron I have is the main book and secrets of Xendrik). It seems our little Robbit will be a wand slinging hero.
I just had an awful idea, a wonderful awful idea.
A wonderful awfully grinchy idea? I await this with mingled glee and dread.
Kayos: I tracked down the original Tibbit in the 135 Dragon after successfully casting my Sort Junk spell in my basement. I do hope the updated version has nothing in it about summoning 5-50 other Tibbits to aid you in a pinch, other than that little canard the race looks like a lot of fun. Swift/Blacky is a good character with a lot of fun roleplaying potential.
Seeker: you seem to have everything down so far. I know I sound like a broken record, but I am really appreciative of all the Pathfinder Alpha number crunching you are doing. Your input is going to help us get underway a lot quicker.
Guy: Looks like you and Seeker have thrashed out Karrin's little difficulties. I hereby add my official stamp of DM approval.
So this is where I would get my wand of Magic Stone from? Is he open today?
Also about this money, I am having difficulty spending it all Is it a case of use-it-or-lose-it or do we get to keep the change?
Melchion would be the place for the wand, indeed. I developed him for the party as a valuable contact for magical supplies. You can assume you bought your wand from him. If any of you need components, basic magic items, or scrolls, he is the source (of course you can shop elsewhere, but he is reliable and going to strangers for magic can be dicey). As for your extra loot, my rule is keep it. That being said there are several options: 1) Big chest locked in your room. 2) Asking Renkar to keep it in his safe (he has a big one in his office). 3) going to a banking house and putting it on deposit (you get a letter of credit, making it easy to carry, but that letter of credit is also easier to steal!) 4) going to a temple and putting it on deposit. Most temples have a banking function (which is a real life thing from Roman times) and in Sigil, the temples are mostly prestige things for their deities (not a lot of fervent worshippers in the Cage) so the priests usually concentrate on banking, spycraft on other deities' temples, and selling high-level spells to clumsy adventurers who need revival. A temple would also give you a letter of credit, or if you are well known to the priests, just a notation of the funds for future use.
OK, keep posting the questions, and here's another NPC contact for you all:
Clarion Copperman:
Clarion is a scion of the once powerful Copperman family. Centuries ago his family was a major player in Sigil, but those days are long past. Clarion operates the Sharpened Sword , a combination blacksmithy/junk shop. He deals mostly in metal goods of the non-precious variety, and can effect repairs on arms and armor at a reasonable price. He also buys old arms and armor and sells them as well. He is a large man, and he can often be seen in the Copper Cauldron's common room having a few stouts after a days work. He has a good disposition, but gets annoyed if anyone should bring up how his family was once rich and powerful.
Quote: "I think I can get this rent in yer chain shirt fixed up by Peak next, cutter."

Thanks for the kind words patrick ,I have messed up more then once but try.I should have kratos stated out today. He has more hp then the rules say he would but I couldn't fig out why he would lose hp so I kept em.Other then that his skills I have to rework no a big thing.
and the game is shaping up really well looks like a fun group should be intresting..
Patrick Curtin
Awesome Seeker. I see Kratos being a fun roleplaying familiar. Especially with Blacky and another NPC creature that lives at the Silver Rose offices (more on him later). I would post a separate alias for Kratos like Kayos did with her alter ego Blacky.
OK guys, I am off for a few, I might be back this afternoon, but I trust we can keep moving forward and get our characters squared up. If in doubt, assume I will allow it. If there is any mechanics problems, Seeker make your erudite suggestions and I will review them as I can.
seekerofshadowlight
Yeah I was gonna make one for him and just link it to zigel's profile. the swift/blacky profiles were a great ideal and work very well.May buy some armor for him for combat but yeah think i'm gonna have fun with him. He's INt 6 so he can reason and think just not as fast or as clear as a human for now.
Kruelaid
I went back to two weapon fighting with Eir, which was her original concept, so she's back to 9 bonus on diplomacy and deception, although I'll probably take Negotiator feat later. Unless I can find a cool whip feat.
She's going to use sawtooth sabers from the CotCT PG.
And she's going to worship Calistra instead of Loki, which makes her free proficiency the whip. A sexy blond with a whip and a giant frickin' steak-knife. I hate D&D whips, but man it looks cool and it's always good to have a reach weapon.
When she fights with two ST Sabers she's a force to be reckoned with. (cough, cough.... munchkin.)
But she's got a whip! That's so Eir.
niel
Evidently there was a lasher prc in 'sword and fist', 3.0. Maybe one of the class abilities as a feat? Or the intimidating display feat from PRPG (not sure of the exact name)?
Know what you mean about D&D whip, though. My first thought when I read warlock class was with the weapon damage invocation, now use a whip. But you still trigger AOO's. Still, high level warlock damage makes a cool whip-of-power visual.
Cash and time will bring with it enchanted whips- but improved disarm and a cool sword might be fun now.
I wonder- if you make the grip a wand, could make for a neat weapon and spell combo. Make a grapple with the whip, then trigger the wand for added goodness (no reflex to avoid effect). Now, that's Munchkiny!
p.s. Does harlot+whip imply side job? :)
seekerofshadowlight
the whip /harlet thing I was nice and didnt go there
the wand whip thing very nice. lets play with some feats shall wee
Feats
*Whip Lash
This feat allows you to make attacks of opportunity with his whip or whip dagger against foes within 5 feet as if it were a melee weapon.
Normal: You may not use a whip against foes within 5 feet
Prerequisites :dex 13
*Improved whip lash
This feat allows you to add a +2 damage bonus to your whip. If using a whip, you adds +2 subdual damage or +2 regular damage.
Note:this stacks with other bounes to damage
Prerequisites:Dex 13,whip lash
*Stunning Snap
This feat allow you use a whip to stun a creature instead of inflicting subdual or normal damage. You must declare that you are using this feat before you make your attack roll (thus, a failed attack roll ruins the attempt). Stunning snap forces a foe damaged by your unarmed attack to make a Fortitude saving throw (DC 10 + your character level + your Wis modifier), in addition to dealing damage normally. A defender who fails this saving throw is stunned for 1 round (until just before your next action). A stunned creature drops everything held, can t take actions, takes a -2 penalty to AC, and loses his Dexterity bonus to AC. You may attempt a stunning attack once per day for every four levels you have attained (but see Special), and no more than once per round. Constructs, oozes, plants, undead, incorporeal creatures, and creatures immune to critical hits cannot be stunned.
Prerequisites:Dex 13,BAB+8 weapon focus whip
*Third Hand:
Your precision with the whip allows you to use it almost like a third hand a third hand at the end of a flexible 15-foot-long arm as a standard action.Depositing a lashed object into your hand is a move equivalent action. You successfully performs a task if her attack roll equals or exceeds the DC for a given task:
Punch a button, snuff a candle flame, flick a coin lying along the ground, etc. as a move-equivalent action. Range 15 feet, DC 15.
Retrieve an unattended object of up to 20 pounds, and deposit into your offhand as a move-equivalent action. Range 15 feet, DC 20.
Firmly wrap the end of your whip around a pole, spike, or other likely projection up to 15 feet away as a move-equivalent action. The DC is 22. If used to wrap around a projection at the top of a wall, reduce the DC to climb the wall by 5. If the point of attachment is optimal on a ceiling fixture, you could swing over a chasm of up to 25 feet wide. You can also wrap items heavier than 20 pounds, but you cannot automatically flick them into your off hand (but you could drag them). You can unwrap the end of your whip from the entangled object as a free action.
When the victim of a precipitous fall, you can give up your Reflex save in an attempt to use your whip to snag a likely projection, pillar, rafter, etc.within 15 feet of the edge of the pit, cliff, bridge, etc.
Generally, an unattached item (such as a statue, table, etc.) must weight twice as much as you for you to arrest your fall, otherwise you merely pull it after you). You may attempt to snag a friend or foe standing near the edge of the precipice as you fall. You make a ranged touch attack against another creature's AC (the friend does not apply his Dexterity bonus while an unwilling friend or a foe applies their
Dexterity modifier to AC), If you hit, you wrap your whip around the target, who must make a successful Strength check against DC 20 to arrest both you and himself. An unsuccessful Strength check sends both
you and your target into the precipice. You can unwrap the end of our whip from the entangled object as a free action.
Prerequisites:Dex 16,BAB+8 weapon focus, whip lash

Ahem, have you read the first two pages of the World Serpent Inn thread?
seekerofshadowlight
one more feat
Combat feat
*Channel spell
You may channel any touch attack spell you cast though your weapon instead
of touch.
Note spells channeled in this manner DO NOT USE TOUCH AC.
Normal: caster must touch an opponent to use touch spells
Prerequisite: Ability to cast arcane spells, arcane strike
had to add that after the spell whip comment

Since Greep's a prime, I'm planning on picking up the chant as we go.
I do have questions though- My Planescape books stop with AD&D. What happened to spell keys and such in 3.0 and 3.5? What other basic stuff changed? I don't mind Greep being new to the planes, but I would like to know what to expect for myself.
I've got a line on a copy of the manual of the planes (for 3.0?), but have had no luck on the planewalkers guide book.

Karrin knows nothing about the planes, I figure she's been Sigil for a matter of weeks at best, Karrin however wants to fit in, so if everyone else is doing it she'll probably try to emulate. Her hearing isn't always the best though so she probably going to some of the terms wrong . . .

Been doing a lot of whip thinking.
Having used one, when I was 15, STR bonus really doesn't do anything for damage increase. I think it's dubious at best that a whip is one handed and not light, and the damage it does would seem to mostly non-lethal.
But then this whole lethal/non-lethal thing bothers me....
Ok, not the time to air my complaints about d20.

Good Morning all!
Wow, you guys have made a lot of progress since yesterday. Kruelaid, love the new ideas for Eir (sabers et al.). Also, I think a whip is an excellent weapon for Eir, totally in keeping. Seeker, once again you have pulled the proverbial rabbit out the hat. The whip feats look splendid, I would put the BAB to +6 on the two high-level feats just to put them in reach quicker. I am hoping if we use the Fast EXP charts from Pathfinder we can layer on some levels.
I love the fact you guys are willing to 'lann the chant on the cant'. Mimir.net has a great online dictionary if you need a few words to sprinkle in. Digging the Zigel/Karrin RPing already, should be fun (and Kratos).
I have not given spell keys any thought Niel, but you raise a good point. I am going to peruse my Manual of the Planes and see what the 3.5 ruling on them was. My feeling is that they are neccessary, but as I remember they were fairly easy to find out/ use. I also have to figure out power keys for divine spells, they were much harder in AD&D.
[Leaving the cats and dogs to sort themselves out, Goes to the Sharpened Sword to commone with Mr Copperman.]
"I desire a certain thing. I desire some cold iron tips for my claws. I need them well made to fit over them and also sharp. They should be easily fitted and removed. They should be connected, via light chains, to a band around my wrist so I do not loose them. I have money - can you do this?"
Clarion looks up from his forge and wipes his sweaty brow with a well-used rag.
"Should be easy enough cutter. Let me see yer claws so's I can get a feel fer what size I'll need to make them."
Clarion does some examining of the claws and calls out some numbers to his apprentice who marks them on the wall in charcoal.
"Should be able to make 'em fer about 100 gold. Tough part will be the chains, ye'll have to be peery about them an' watch the welds as time goes on."
DM's Blather:
I am really pleased with the progress so far. Hard to imagine this thread has gone to 200 posts already. I am whipping up some scenarios, and trying between painting/gardening/cleaning chores to get back some of my rust-laden skills. I think that by the weekend we might be ready to roll out. Keep up the good work and I will attempt to keep an eye on progress today as I can.
Couple of things:
1) I would like everyone to post a sort of long-range vision for their character. What do you see you character evolving into as time goes on? As a player do you desire fame, fortune or power (or a combo of the three?). Do you want to try some prestige class or earn an epic weapon? The more I know of your desires, the more I can tailor the scenarios to help you gain them.
2) I would like to know if anyone is interested in joining a faction. The factions were outlawed in 3rd Edition's Sigil, but I have home-ruled that they are still extant in Sigil ATM. Whether the events of Faction War transpire in the future is a bridge I will burn when I come to it. Assume for now that the factions are in full effect.
3) Third (remember the Rule of Three!) I would like at least a couple of NPC names that you want your character to know. Make them helpful to your character, a merchant/drinking buddy/fence/parole officer. Whatever you think would fit your character best. This will help me a bit and give you some say in your contacts.
Game beginning notes: For the sake of brevity I am going to assume that you have all (briefly) met after being recruited by Renkar. You all have a kip at the Copper Cauldron Inn as part of your benefit package. If you wish to procure your own kip that is fine, but lodgings can be pricey. It looks like Eir will most likely be the 'face' of the party, and I figure she will interview clients with Renkar when the time comes. I would have all y'all go on interviews, but it is a bit much for prospective clients to be faced with the entire motley crew (and get sloppy kisses from Kratos). Since this might frustrate some of y'all that might want to ask a specific question and not be there, I will allow OOC converstaions and suggestions to Eir/Kruelaid in discussion thread.
That's all I can think of ATM, keep up the good work and if I find time today I will post more. :)
Kayos.

A few months later she returned in her humanoid form and apologised, explaining what she was and how she meant no harm, it was merely part of her people's ways. The two have been close friends ever since.
Skrint of the Clearbrook: Catfolk ranger and Swift's current crush. She meets with him for drinks at least once a month and has done for the past year. Whether he is aware of her romantic interest in him or not she doesn't know but hopes to find out how he feels about her. Until then the feline pair remain good friends and often share stories.
Emelia Whyte: A six year old girl with some celestial blood who occasionally feeds Swift's catform (calling her 'Bunnykins'). Swift doesn't feel comfortable adopting someone so young as a fullfledged 'owner' and isn't overly fond of the girl's guardian (the whereabouts of her parents is unknown) a rather severe man known simply as 'Sage'. Still, out of curiousity and a vague fondness for the girl she checks in on Emelia from time to time to see how she's doing (and to get a nice saucer of cream at the same time)
Hows that? :D
Patrick Curtin
Kayos: Excellent work! Color me impressed, and those NPCs are just what the DM ordered. I see a lot of role-playing opportunities there.
For everyone:
I should take a moment and clarify my comments in an earlier post about power munchkining. I like people to have a good time playing, and I get my enjoyment from the developing story. One reason I love Planescape is the limitless options it opens up to you the players and me the DM for adventure. I do not mind if your characters want weird items, odd classes, strange races, in fact I welcome it. If you feel like there is power creep, I can always scale the encounters to match. Even if we play this out to 20th level there will always be something out on the Great Wheel to challenge you.
From what I have seen from the interactions among you all you seem to be a wonderful group of role players who desire the same things I do. I was afraid I would have to deal with the 'slay monster/loot treasure' mentality, but this couldn't be farther from reality. I think once we get moving we are going to have a lot of fun (as long as I can keep the mechanics rolling the right way!)
Kruelaid
1)She needs a cool whip that doesn't suck. As for PrCs we’ll see. She doesn’t have any particular goals or ambitions, although she would like to find her parents – where that will take her who knows.
2)Faction? Not really. One, I don’t know s~$+ about factions, it was hard enough to make Eir’s background without having any kind of grasp on the planes. Two, she’s a cleric of Calistra and an employee of Silver Rose, and one shouldn’t spread one’s allegiances too thin. Not to mention that Eir is fiercely individualistic.
3) Amigos
Shactal: Sigil librarian and Eir's research blood. Shac has the chant and keeps a bead on the local dark, not to mention the fact that he knows where to find the apocryphal tomes in Sigil’s library.
Elvin Boogler (Male Expert/Fighter): A dwarf weaponsmith and drinking buddy who hails from the hills near Irongate in Greyhawk, also a good contact on all things lawful in Sigil. Elvin takes care of her equipment and plays a mean game of cards. They regard each other as adopted siblings, she calls him big brother, he calls her little sister.
Iarn Kal’Mintaka (Female Cleric): Eir’s teacher and contact in the following of Golarion Goddess Calistra, found wherever Calistra hangs out. Where that is will be up to you Patrick because I really don’t know s%@$ and can't really place her. Iarn wields frightening power but respects the free will of Calistra’s children on the planes… she can be vengefully protective.

Veria
Veria is an erinyes who runs "veria's delights ". The shop/Bordello deals in physical pleasure, fine wine, dugs, scented soaps, oils, potions, fine smoke weed, companionship with a wild verity of races. Any thing and everything to do with psychical pleasure can be found here for a price.soon after arriving in the cage zigel caught veria's eye and she took him under her wings and showed him the chant of the cage.Zigel still makes trips to veria's to shop and for her rather unique companionship.
Grvork blackwinter
A Fey'ri dusk blade hailing from the world of troil.Grvork is a load mouth and a drunk. Also he's a very affactive cross-trader.If its shady or underhanded grvork deals in it .Zigel had dealing with him from his time as veria's lover. Govork is a good source for the dark in the lower ward.
havask
harvask is an odd troll. he likes wine and a good book he runs "Havasks binding and booksellers" in The Lady's ward.Zigel has become great finds with the rather odd troll often meeting him for lunch they share the chant on new books and poets in the city. Harvesk is also a lover of theater and is often pation to new playwrights he has sent work zigels way a few times .playwrights and poets can be short lived in the cage after all and he hates losing one he likes.

seekerofshadowlight
Not to mention that Eir is fiercely individualistic.
ah my friend the indeps are for you. the free league is a faction thats to individualistic to be a faction lol. from planewalker.co
The Free League, or Indeps, is one of the 15 factions of Sigil...but only because they have to be. They don't consider themselves a faction, and don't give a lick really about what the other factions have to say. They're free spirited and against supreme authority.
The Harmonium is their biggest enemy. Also there seems to be a strange disease that effects only Indeps who enter Sigil, killing them is weeks, although only a fraction of the faction contract it.
The Free League is stationed at the Great Bazaar in the Market ward of Sigil, where free trade reigns. They also hold informal meetings in the gate-town of Tradegate in the Outlands.
Their faction symbol is a dragon eating itself.
Kratos
Blacky hisses at the dog and hops up onto a tabletop to get out of the canine's reach. Certain she's out of reach of the drooly kibble-breath she sits and lightly grooms herself, wanting to make sure none of the mutt's stench got on her.
Kratos watches the cat not cat lick herself"odd kitty that is" he thinks to himself. "hummm wonder if zigels done with his stew. ummmmmmmmm stew" Kratos pads across the room looking to snatch some stew

1)What I've been missing in recent games has been a sense of purpose- locally we've been playing 'just for fun'. I play for fun, but I prefer my character have something to reach for. I'd like it if the Silver Rose worked towards something- but not a short term goal. Character developement and such would be an early plan but maybe Renkar set us up for some eventual plan- eliminate a powerful rival, open a plane to travel, protect a worthy settlement, overthrow a merchant family- whatever. The idea is that the group as a whole has a goal in addition to their individual ones. Of course, that group goal shouldn't prevent character growth, but encourage it. (example: FFethpaar wishes to gain tribal prestige/eliminate tribal threat- as he adventures, he gains ability or tools to do so. His tribe later helps Silver Rose defeat an difficult foe.)
2)Greep has only a basic idea of what a faction is and niel would prefer to be a part of a smaller gang than a faction. If it came up as part of the storyline, I would not be adverse to joining one, but its not a necessity. For the planars, its different- their characters have internallized the idea that belief makes reality, but primes take awhile to pick that up.
3) I'll have something soon. They will most likely be people greep meets rather than someone from his past. Maybe something along the psionic angle if that's OK with you. Or maybe some scholar interested in odd primal biology or delusional states. (Contacts? Have you been playing Shadowrun?)
BTW, is planar common the same as prime common? I ended up with quite a few language slots.
