Yet another Tides of Dread question (very mild spoilers)

Repairing the Sea Wyvern: "Repairing a hull section requires a day of work and a successful DC 20 Craft (carpentry) check -- up to three sections may be worked on in a day."

Does this mean that a single carpenter can work (or supervise untrained work) on three sections, or that up to three carpenters can each work on a single section?

Hope that helps. You can also find the rules I cited in Stormwrack.

So someone with Craft (carpentry) +11 could take 10 and fix up the Sea Wyvern in four days (12 sections, DC 20 on each, three per day).

Thanks so much for the answers. I think I have one more, and then I'll be done. Probably.

given adequate supplies of worked wood, tar, nails hemp, oakum etc on hand and handed to the poor sod working on a coastal reef with tides coming and going.....

Just wondering Stevem did you honestly intend for the Wyvern to be used in the final battle or why the XP for refloating the hapless ship.

Most PCs I have heard off captured at least on or more of the ships in the pirate fleet, plus the "Hellfish", so transport for the later parts of the campaign is secured anyway. Actually, my players faced the problem of fencing three additional craft which they hardly had any crew for (the other three just burned or got "sonic-ed" away..... )
