Do you want to roll for him? :D
Attack roll... 1d20+5 = 24 to hit
Looks like a hit. But what's the damage for that glowing axe anyway?
Bowen Quaid
Sorry for the lack of posting, been busy. That worked out perfectly and she got a better roll then my 18 I rolled.
Damage
1d8+3=9
Bowen charges into the room rushing for the first kobold he sees.
The Chronicler
Rall, from a distance, impales one of the kobolds and it falls with a startled squawk off of its stone seat.
Bowen likewise quickly dispatches one of the little warriors with his glowing axe. It does not even get to utter a cry as Bowen's axe cleaves into its chest and propels it to the ground.
Will Save: (1d20+5=20)
Chloe's spell does not seem to work.

The kobolds all start shouting loudly in fear and costernation, their high pitched voices sounding almost dog-like.
Chloe moves in to accompany Bowen and press the advantage while they have it. Arcane energy crackles along the length of her scimitar blade as she swings it at another kobold. And grim determination frames her features as she seeks to punish those who once held her prisoner.
Empowering the scimitar with Arcane Strike as a swift action while on the move.

Is there anyway to get around into a flanking position on the robed kobold? Rall's intention is to move closer to him but I'm not sure of the arrangement of the room.
The room is forty feet by thirty feet and the robed kobold is near the top of the room in the center and it is certainly possible to go around the room and thus flank him. I wasn't expecting the kobolds to last long enough to bother with a map so assume the kobolds can be surrounded, the benches block some movement (the robed kobold cannot be charged) but they can be gone around.
Rall Kirnast
Rall's intention is to get close enough to the robed one to miss terribly. 1d20+3=6, 1d8+2=5
The Chronicler
A fourth kobold is cut down. The remaining kobold warrior leaps to his feet and throws his javelin towards Bowen, some ten feet away from him.
The small spear flies true, though fortunately for Bowen, there is not much strength behind it. Bowen takes 2 points of damage.
The kobold warrior then immediatelly begins to move towards the northern door.
The robed kobold snaps angrily at the cowardice of his companion and makes a strange gesture in the air. With the utterance of a word of divine power he unleashes a ripple of energy through the air at the one closest to him, Bowen. Bowen must make a will save, DC 13, or be affected by fear.
Rall then rushes into the room, moving around the benches towards the robed kobold. Rall's energetic attack, though futile, does move the kobold's attention to him.

Will Save
1d20+3=21A moment of terror takes a hold of the giant Shoanti but letting go a visceral growl Bowen overcomes it and screams back expletives in Draconic.

In the interests of keeping things moving, I thought I'd go ahead and post for Arla/Ash...
I think it makes sense for her to send Ash after the fleeing kobold before he can warn any of the others. The dog can move 40 feet in a single move action, so I assume that's enough to run him down. In addition, Mishi indicated that Arla wouldn't throw her spear...and I'm guessing she'd hold onto her more powerful spells until we face a greater threat. So I'd suggest she moves toward the spellcasting kobold in an effort to keep him occupied. So...
Arla's attack with spear after moving 25 feet to reach spellcasting kobold... 1d20+2 = 8 to hit
Ugh. I won't bother to roll damage.
Ash's bite attack after running down the fleeing kobold at the north door... 1d20+3 = 16 to hit
Damage... 1d6+3 = 6 hp
Reminder:
Just a quick reminder for anyone who hasn't voted in the RPG Superstar competition. Today's the last day. And the exit polls still look pretty close. So, if you like my entry, please consider casting a vote for it. Thanks. :-)

Nobody is currently flanking the remaining kobold, but Chloe or Bowen can both move opposite Rall without provoking an attack.
Chloe follows after Arla when she sees the dog wrestle the other kobold to the ground. She circles around the remaining leader to cut off his escape, too, and hopefully provide Rall an opening. Once again, arcane magic ripples across the blade of the scimitar she borrowed from Bowen. And she lashes out at the kobold...
Swift action to empower Arcane Strike.

"Where keep the pink skin eggs? ... no ... ummm ... the human hatchlings?"
He is still prepared to kill the kobold on his turn though.

The kobold's response is the beginning of a spell...
Attacks of opportunity from those next to him...
Arla doesn't understand what Bowen says to the kobold, but she does recognise the beginnings of a spell being cast. She thrusts her spear at the kobold, hoping to stop it in its tracks.

"Did we need to kill him? A punch in the mouth wouldn't have sufficed?"
Chloe sweeps a stray lock of hair from her face as she catches her breath. "I'd just as soon kill every last one of these horrid beasts," she replies with a hint of anger, but more directed at the kobolds than Rall, "You would too if you spent some time in their holding pens and watched how they handle children."
She wipes the blood from the scimitar and sheathes it, before squatting down to search the kobold leader for anything that might aid them. The sorceress looks over her shoulder at Bowen. "Can you tell where they came from?" she asks, "And is there any chance more of them might be coming if they heard this fight?"
Bowen Quaid
Pointing towards the robed one, "He wouldn't help even if we brought him back. That and I don't trust his magic, better a combatant who is fearful of death then a god talker."
Looking around Bowen sees if a trail is readily available while the others tend to the kobolds.
Going to take 10 on Survival to find tracks

"I don't want to wait for him to become conscious," says Rall. "We need to find those kids."
"None of us are wounded," Chloe answers, "And I'd rather not waste Desna's healing on one such as this...not after what they did to us."
She looks at the chamber's exit and thinks for a moment.
"Look," she finally tells the sheriff's deputy, "We have a pretty good idea where one of the missing children are. It's not far from here. And the monster that dragged him off will certainly take a lot of effort for us to defeat and free the child. So, why don't we quickly take care of that, bind the kobold you wish to interrogate and leave him here for now...and then, if we survive this next fight, we'll come back and heal ourselves along with him so we can ask him some questions. Sound fair?"

Going to take 10 on Survival to find tracks
The party came in to the room from the west. There is another set of double doors on the north wall of the room. The fleeing kobold was heading towards these. All the tracks that Bowen can find, though they are hard to read (especially after the party walked and stomped all over them) seem to go to and from the northern doors.
Rall Kirnast
Bowen Quaid wrote:"It looks to be that they mainly come from these doors here," Bowen points to the north doors."Then what do you say, lawman?" Chloe asks, "Care to save a child from a demon?"
Rall glances at Chloe somewhat resentfully, certain he's being mocked.
He uses his manacles to attach the kobold to one of the dead kobold and removes all sharp objects. "I doubt he can chew the other one's leg off. Let's go."
The Chronicler
As the doors are opened, kobold voices suddenly sound in anger.
Your lights reveal a fifteen foot hallway, and then a chamber which is dominated by a ten foot wide pit. Directly over the pit a long chain feeds through a complex pulley system before dissapearing into the depths.
There are five kobolds on the other side of the pit armed with javelins. The kobold in the center of the group looks better armored than his four companions and it is he that seems to be barking out the orders.

There are five kobolds on the other side of the pit armed with javelins. The kobold in the center of the group looks better armored than his four companions and it is he that seems to be barking out the orders.
"Uh-oh," Chloe manages to breathe the words as the kobolds come into view. Realizing she has little in the way of weapons she can use at range, the sorceress hesitates to see what strategy her newfound friends have in mind.
If Chloe has won initiative over her companions (and the kobolds?), she delays long enough to see how she can support the others.
Meanwhile, if she's further down in the initiative order, I'll figure out her action based on what everyone else does anyway.

If Chloe has won initiative over her companions (and the kobolds?), she delays long enough to see how she can support the others.
Seeing Arla prepare to trade slingstones against javelins and Bowen moving to hold the line, Chloe decides to try a more drastic strategy. The sorcererss quickly moves around the pit to close on the kobolds, an arcane spell on her lips. Once she gets within range, she flings her hand outward to generate a dazzling arc of color.
Move action to get close enough to as many kobolds as possible to cast color spray on them. Will save (DC 14) negates.
