Well it's 2008 and my players will be fighting a miniature battle as the seige of Lemoriax 1000pts for the demons vs 3 , 200 pt armies for the eladrin and demonic armies gathered to battle demogorgon.time limit 90 minutes.25pt victory areas with the Pc 's haveing 100 bonus points for releaseing Obox Ob.After that they will attack Wat Dagon from ethier land or by the Sea Wyvern. They haven't told me the plan yet.I think we will end the Game by the end of this month.

As one of the players in this campaign, I would be happy to recap what an awesome scenario this was and an easy way to handle what would have been a massive battle. To determine what sort of aid would present itself from both sides in the coming fight against Demogorgon. Our DM told us in advance that he would be using 'Dungeons and Dragons Miniatures' rules to conduct the Battle of Lemoriax, and that his 'team' would be a build of 1000 points of demons, versus our three teams of 200 points. Each of the player warbands (200) had to feature a key piece that was a figurehead for the various armies we had aligned to invade Lemoriax, which were the Ghaele Eladrin, the Aspect of Orcus, and the Couatl. Our DM set up two of the Fantastic Locations maps back to back to represent the abyssal battlefield: Broken Demongate and Hellspike Prison. The rules were as follows:
1) The players begin with 100 victory points to represent the confusion and terror sowed by Obox-ob's release.
2) Any victory area counts toward the usual 25 points, but only one player can score points for the entire team. These represented tactical positions that helped ensure the armies' supremacy.
3) Any exit counts as the nearest exit for both teams.
4) Activations were taken two at a time, alternating between the demons and the invaders, so that the players had to choose each phase who was going to go, though one of the PCs could move just one piece and have another PC move his own single piece instead of two at once.
5) Commander effects for the players worked on all three armies, though abilities that target warbands still only worked on one.
Now the Armies:
*Player 1, (Whirling Fury): Ghaele Eladrin, Bralani Eladrin, Air Mephit x2, Timber Wolf x3 (Moon Dogs)
*Player 2 (Legion of Orcus): Aspect of Orcus, Bone Naga, Cursed Spirit x2, Shadow, Skeletal Legionarre x2
*Player 3 (Queztacouatl and the Risen Olman) Couatl, Angel of Vengeance, Sacred Watcher x4, Man at Arms x2
The Demons' Team (all non-epic except for Glabrezu): Balor, Marilith, Hezrou, Glabrezu, Vrock, Succubus, Chasme, Abyssal Eviscerator, Babau, Bar-Lgura, Aspect of Demogorgon, and the rest filled out with Dretches and Carnage Demons.
Upon setting up, we were intimidated to say the least. The demons have a ridiculous amount of damage output if they concentrate on one target, and while we have a lot of screeners, nothing was going to stop the Glabrezu from dimension dooring into our midst and going nuts. Our DM running the demons played them loosely, telling us since he had the advantage he would not play the most tactical of games. This helped make the fight manageable as he could have probably wiped us out if he'd put his mind to it. ( He used the Bar-Lgura's abduct on a Sacred Watcher then wasted about 16 attacks on Incorporeal misses from Demogorgon and the Balor. He also used all of the Glabrezu's spells before closing, which lessened the impact of it joining the fight immediately)
We ended up winning by about the seventh round (over 1000), with just the Balor and Demogorgon left. Highlights of the game included:
-Orcus scoring 5 critical hits on opponents. He really wants the Crown..
-A ghaele eladrin getting beguiled by the Succubus and laying into the Angel of Vengeance
-Glabrezu routing off the board before he'd even been nicked thanks to the Ghaele's fear gaze.
We all had a blast, and I really like this method of determining a mass battle's outcome.I think I will use a similiar system in Age of Worms for 'Kings of the Rifts'. 1000 points of Dragons (no icons) versus 750 points of giants sounds like a fun way to determine exactly how injured some of the invading dragons are.
