Neat idea. Videogame companies and others have done this and some of the results have been impressive. The company has to be careful about wording ToU on it but it could be beneficial for word-of-mouth.
I myself would like to see a DM's kit for DMs that would like to create sites for their players. Before my provider got all jiggy on me I had created a site for my EtCR campaign with a journal, dramatis personae, etc. for the players - but I had to scan in images from my book and raid the Wizard's art library to make it. Probably wasn't even entirely kosher given WotC's fairly tight copyright/trademark enforcement but I made sure images were degraded, etc. so that I wasn't 'giving away' anything. The text content was all from our campaign so it was okay in that regard.
Fan kit? DM kit? Yeah, that'd be pretty cool. :)

I don't see why they'd have a problem if you used some of it for non-commercial use. Just don't go posting every bit of info from the books or else they'd have a problem then. :)

I love the idea of a Pathfinder Fan Kit.
I offer my services as graphic designer if Paizo will allow
the use of some of the images for this purpose.
Also... is the Pathfinder logo a custom built font or commercially available?
