Planning for "The Bullywug Gambit"

Savage Tide Adventure Path

A few questions:

1. Good ideas for keeping the action vivid for the pirates' cove? I thought I should build on using the fire for that--smoke, confusion and so on in the harbour. I also thought I'd go for a horror feel for the whole episode there. Thoughts?

2. Shadow pearl information--good ideas for making sure the pcs get it?

3. The rescue--does it have an ill effect on the game if any of the Jade Ravens get killed?

Emphasize the twisted nature of the savage creatures. Have the savage dino strike from out of hiding if you can manage it - it really is supposed to be horrific.

Even if they don't find the actual Pearl, Harliss' rant/exposition will link the pearl and the transformations

Potentially. You may want to try and keep them alive if you can. None are in immediate danger of death, except possibly for the ones with Lavinia.
