I like the name of this thread. :) I know that this is mainly about the game but I'd also like to add that I wanna have a practice session for Guitar Hero this weekend if anybody wants to come over.
About the game: I liked the idea of splitting up if we could keep both groups in the same vicinities and the story closely woven (aren't I poetic?). Kind of like when we are in Grayhawk and everyone is off taking care of thei own business... But that is just my two cents.
I am really craving Chipotle so what do you all think about that as a possibility for tomorrow? I haven't gone shopping for food stuff.
And I want Dr. Pepper too!

After our first test run with all... well almost all, *cough cough adam. i think that the game went very well and went pretty smoothly for the most part. I dont see areason why the group should split up at all. I think that we are all perfectly competent and should be able to behave ourselves with the exeption of Vaan who is twelve and has every right to not know any better, or does he?
Anyway... the one thing that I am even remotely worried about is combat. to anyone reading this I think that having nine people in a party, that gives us plenty of time to think of what are next move is and even to think of what our plan B is if the original doesn't work. if we can all focus during combat and make our moves as time efficiant and combat effective at the same time then the game will progress faster and i think that we will hae more fun also.
And before you all tell me on thursday. I know that I am probably the worst about delaying the game and thinking of my next move so dont remind me I already know.
and I like how Abram spells Vaan with two 'A's I think I'm going to keep that spelling.
And another thing, I pick up soda but don't tell me what soda you want on this message board because i wont't remember to read it in time.
but you know... Whatever

Just made my first post as Silva. I had to write it twice because when I tried to post it the first time I was sent to the paizo main page instead. Maybe it was paizo's initiation for a first time poster. Or maybe I just took too long typing it the first time.
Also, I'm going to be bitter for a while about the fact that I can't make my own avatar image.

that was the last post?... dear god man!
you didn't miss a g~!@## thing!
unless ambient noise counts...
anyways, I'm posting to tell all my fellow gamers that even thought I planned to play out my characters for a little while (maybe amanda as well) and take a break, this is in no way because of anyone in, or out, of game. I have alot of reasons from a lot of things. I shouldn't say more because this ain't the "soap" thread, and I still plan to work on, and start, my own game in time...
I can't stress enough how much I want everyone to keep playing at my house! It makes me feel more "at home" to share my home, and I think 4-8 weeks without some specific gaming friends (namely all!) would kill me...
okay on a different note, me starting a game later (or now for that matter) is not about persons or enjoyment of companies (everybody). People who are playing right now have every right to keep doing so! I just feel that with 9 players, Dm aside, the game becomes more stubble than wheat - more bone than beef...
I just want to give a chance to everyone that feels like I do to play another game until martin is finished and wants to run his campaign again...
then another party could play another game...
our problem is a good problem! I love that 10 (now possibly 12) gamers are meeting under one roof playing the greatest game ever written!
I love you guys, don't be hatin' ;)

You do have a good point about there being too many players all in one game. Sometimes it is an hour between turns for one person in a combat. Two smaller games would alleviate this problem...
But on the other side of the coin, most of the group probably feels much like I do--I really don't want to miss anything! I want to play in your campaign, I want to play in Martin's campaign, and I want to finish my campaign. I also would like to run a few playtesting sessions for the New and Awesome-looking Pathfinder RPG.
We should probably put the whole thing to a vote. I also feel, that in the interest of fairness, that if we do split into two groups we draw randomly to determine who is in which group. We might also be able to "pick teams" like in grade-school kickball, but I would feel bad for the last person picked.
Just my $.02 worth.

So now I would recommend that everyone in the Thursday group consider what you would like to do next. Martin recommended going back to my game, which I would be totally cool with, but Abe said he didn't want to play it with eight players (too many.) If we are not going to play my Greyhawk game, then what are we going to do? Or should we try to go ahead and play my game. I know a lot of you are ready to revisit your characters and see what they are up to.
