Would it be possible to have a Volo's Guide about the cult of Orcus in the realms? Something like a second part to the demon cults of the realms article of Dragon #355. I've read in a old supplement for AD&D that there was/is quite a big cult of Orcus in Vaasa. It would be nice to have a small update on that (or generally on Vaasa). :-)
yea i think that would be pretty sweet as well orcus is pretty crazy, i would be scared out of my mind to go to his layer of the abyss, or maybe Iggy could do a Demonomicon on him

How sweet would it be to have Volo write a guide about the Cult of Orcus - only to have the account cut off abruptly.
The account could be found, and Volo has gone missing - a victim of the cult. This would be his last guide as it were - a fitting end since Dragon is coming to an end. Too much peeking into places where he doesn't belong, finally gets him killed.
Or...the account could be sent to one of his acquaintances - just several sheets of paper stuffed into the mouth of his severed head.

Naw, something like a demon lord's cult isn't enough to do Volo in. He may be thick as dwarven plate and as welcome as an orc at court, but he's a survivor, if only through sheer dumb luck.
I would be interested in finding out the ins and outs of what really has happened with Orcus' cult in the Realms. He does have at least one cleric operating in the Unapproachable East sourcebook, but a definative treatment would be interesting . . .
Like maybe finding out that a certain drow goddess supported the Witch King in Orcus' name while a certain paladin was retaking Damara . . . which would tie together a few loose ends.
