Perhaps a set of Tegel Manor "battle maps" sized for miniatures could be produced on tan pebbled stock, printed in brown ink similar to the old-school Judges Guild Wilderlands maps. The single-color process would be cheaper, and the art would be less elaborate. Maps could be double sided, as long as the sections printed on the back were nowhere near the sections on the front.

I always liked those maps...

Those old style maps are nearly impossible to do. We looked into it for the Wilderlands of High Fantasy Boxed Set. Though it is true they are one color, the base paper price is just way too much.

Would you be so kind as to give us an update, please. We all remain enthusiastic that Paizo is working on this and would like to keep tabs on developments.

Here you go, Rick - it's not pretty:

Tegal Manor Discussion

Liberty's Edge

Tegel Manor was the first module that I ever played. It was my introduction to D&D and the one module that I remember the best. Ever since then I have had a soft spot for haunted house modules. I, too, can’t think of a better tribute to the man then to re-release this module under the OGL so that everyone can enjoy it. My thoughts and prayer are with the family now.

Whoa ... I do hope the JG fellas make a full recovery, then are able to proceed with a truly awesome Tegal Manor product.

I too remember that place - never did do too well in it, but I still remember it (albiet vaguely).

I dont want to get anyone's hopes up too high, but there is a chance this will see the light of day.

Please everyone send out your best wishes to Bob and his family. He still isnt doing well. It is going to upset me to lose both Gary and Bob.

What would be a good way of offering support? Is there an address we can send cards to or a specific forum that the family might read that we can leave a message on?

Wiglaf:

Unfortunately, Bob passed away last weekend.

Here's a thread on the Necromancer Games boards with more information.
