I was wondering why FLGS aren't able to stock this item. I purchased my Item Pack cards, flip mats, spell templates, campaign workbook, and even Ptolus minis from my FLGS. However, he told me that he is not able to stock the Status Cards in his store. I try to support my FLGS whenever possible. How come this item isn't available to store owners to sell?

If memory serves, the unit costs were pretty high relative to the price they decided to charge; in order to cover the production costs after distribution and retail take their cuts, they'd have to be priced much, much higher.

I've been assured that I'm correct. If these were sold through regular retail channels, the Steel Sqwire Status Cards would probably have to be priced at $10–15 instead of $3–6 to have any hope of turning a profit.
