So, back in in the waning days of college when I had no gaming group and was doing a semester abroad in England, I was thinking about just giving up on D&D and gaming in general. Out of habit, I'd swing by a games store or two, and on a whim picked up an issue of KoDT. I loved it so much that not only did I go back and buy all the back issues they had but the comic rekindled my love of D&D and made me want to get back into gaming.
I dropped the comic a couple years back when money was tight and never got back in. It was also during the period when Kenzer was looking to capitalize on the strips popularity with spin offs and the Hackmaster. Does anyone else still follow the comic? Is it any good?

I've been following the Knights since about issue #17, but faded away from it around issue #104. Why ... ? I still don't know. I remember loving every issue, and now every time a new one comes out I look fondly at it and try to find the missing 20+ issues that I've missed. Local comic book shops here in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area don't carry much in the way of KoDT back issues, so I'm hoping to fill the gaps at GenCon.
Hmmm ... I think what I was trying to say is that Knights of the Dinner Table is consisently the best gaming comic on the market that I've found (sure, they've had some lower points, but even those are manageable). I hope that the quality has not diminished in the last two years or so, but I also know that they went to new printing methods recently, so it looks just a little different than before.

It's still pretty funny. I have them back through issue #2 with only a couple missed here and there. I am switching off the main magazine and picking up Bundle of Trouble instead. The gaming content just isn't doing it for me anymore... I'm not sure it ever really did. The reviews are OK but the columns just don't do much for me, not enough to justify the monthly pickup.

There's a special promotional copy of KODT #132 that you can download for free - here's the LINK. That's a good way to check out what you've been missing. :)

Avid reader myself. Infact I just bought one of their back issue packs. Something like 25 issues for $25 including shipping. Got the whole stack next to my bed and read a section just before bed. KoDT is still high quality comedy. They're making more jokes about WoW lately, but not enough to dominate the strips. They don't pull any punches when they make a jokes. Quality material.
