I'd like to offer my praise for this new series. It's short, to the point, and, most importantly, not completely written by "Volo" or "Elminster."
On top of that, a lot of the data is useful, because, hey, who can't use new monsters now and then?
I'm still not overly fond of FR articles, but if you've got to have them, this is probably the best way.
