A 'Peter Bjorn & John' song called 'Young folks' it gives me goosebumps. Love it.
Old school indie! at its best.

Train - Ordinary
Interesting story--
I grew up in Erie, Pennsylvania. Two doors down from us lived a young-ish man named Patrick Monahan, along with his wife and two kids. I frequently played with Pat Jr. as a tyke.
One day, Mr. Monahan was on the front page of the Erie Press.
His band (which nobody knew about) had a number one single.
The band was Train. The song was 'Drops of Jupiter.'
In a surprisingly short period of time, he left for a tour, his wife divorced him and left for California, and we never heard from him again.
True story.

Um.... Well, y'know, it would be somewhat interesting to hear Barry's take on "I saw your mama", "Gotta kill Captain Stupid", or, more plausibly, "How can I laugh tomorrow when I can't even smile today?". Of course, we would need to take a Sanity Check or two along the way, but...
Aaaargh! I can't shake this! Darn you, Heathy! Darn you to heck!!

'Closer' by Lacuna Coil
'The Missing McCloud Boys (I'm Going to Kill You)' by the Prize Fighter Inferno
'Apology for Non-Symmetry' by Chronic Future
'Itchin' to Bleed' by Vision of Disorder
'Rock and Roll N---er' by Marilyn Manson
This is an interesting one. At first, I thought it fell into his 'offensive on purpose' category until I heard this line:
"Brian Warner, what a n---er!"
I then realized that he was pretty much making fun of himself.

Well, I got Nightwish's "Dark Passion Play" today, and it ROCKS! While the new singer probably isn't as technically as good a singer as the previous one, the album's still great, and has more of a folk-type feel on some songs. I was so expecting to be disappointed, but I wasn't- yeh! If you were a fan of Nightwish before, you won't be disappointed!
And now I've looked on the website again, I see that they're performing 10 miles near me in 6 months time. Kewl!!!

RIP, John. I still miss him. As a somewhat belated recognition of John Peel Day, I guess it is time to put on some Napalm Death - I'm sure his ghost will approve. ;D
