Ever since I heard YYZ in Guitar Hero II, I've been listening to more and more Rush in order to see what they have to offer, and I must say they are an awesome band. I'll have to check Snakes & Arrows out.

I'll be going to the July 27th Phoenix show. I haven't missed a single tour since 1981 and I am certainly not going to start now.

It was so muggy and hot, but it was awesome!!!

Definitely do, MaxSlasher26. My recommendations are 2112, Moving Pictures, and Signals as the top 3 if I had to pick only three albums to listen to. Of course, all of their stuff is stellar. Those are just my favs.

Do indeed. It's good stuff.

Going to see them tomorrow night! They put on an awesome live show.

I saw them last night. Awesome show! They played a good chunk of "Snakes and Arrows" as well as a good portion of their older material. I was pleasantly surprised to hear "Distance Early Warning" from "Grace under Pressure" for one example. They really ran the gauntlet of material from the early stuff up to present. The only thing that I was disappointed in was that they didn't play "The Trees" but despite that, it was still a great show.

Yeah, they didn't play The Trees last tour either - so I think they're due to play it on the next one.

I took my two younger brothers to see them a couple of weeks ago. They where AWESOME. I like some of the new stuff on their new CD (mostly a fan of the early 80s stuff). They played for about three hours and seeing Neal's drum solo (which lasted for about 10 minutes) was worth the price of admission alone. After two weeks my bothers and I are still talking about it.

I love the new album and the show was incredible. Regarding the album, there isn't a song that I don't like - though admittedly some had to grow on me. ARMOR & SWORD won me over immediately. THE LARGER BOWL and WORKIN THEM ANGELS took a few listens before I got into them.

As for the show, the South Park "Lil Rush" video was friggin awesome. I knew Matt and Trey were on my wavelength, but being Rush Fans to boot? YesSSS!

Getting in way late on this thread. Snakes & Arrows is better than Vapor Trails IMO. If I only had three Rush CDs to listen to, I'd pick Hemispheres, Grace Under Pressure and Roll The Bones. Proof positive that people have wildly different preferences where Rush is concerned. Rush was my fave band for years; but they have finally been eclipsed by Dream Theater. Rush is still a solid #2 tho!
