Azerblood speed is 30 ft.? (FR Races article)

Hi,

Just read the article on the four FR "new FR races" from two Dragons back and noticed that the Azerblood were given landspeed 30 ft. Feels strange for Dwarf-like creatures.

It's maybe to compensate their relative "weakness" compared to other LA +1 Planetouched races?

Can someone at Dragon magazine comment or shall I ask Eric Boyd directly?

This was intentional. Azer's have a base speed of 30 feet, whereas dwarves only have 20 feet. We decided to go with the Azer's speed to give them a bit of a boost.
