Well, not to be nit-picky, but Thessalar's tactics suggest the use of Project Image...even though one of his prohibited schools is Illusion. How is he able to cast it, especially since it isn't even on his prepared spell list?
Whoops! Should have checked the archives first (Always a good idea!) Thessalar has to use Wish to do it. Got it. Sorry to waste space..(Even if it's virtual)

I like to beaf up all my vampires and liches with unholy toughness. The ability that gives them their charisma bonus to hit points. If an undead is going to be bad ass it needs it.

Yeah, I think by themselves single BBGM (Big, Bad Guy Monster?! is that right) go down quite easily. Even the Thessalhydras, as cool as they are (and they are cool) probably won't stand a chance against the might of six PCs (+3 cohorts). That's why I'm giving Thesselar Gate as a 9th level spell. From there, He can bring in the nastiest thing the DM can think up (Oooh...He's a loremaster, huh?). I don't make to make it too hard; after all Thessalar is overconfident, but at the same time, highly intelligent (having been slain 6 times), and is quite legendary as far as the D+D canon goes (A few of my players are aleady saying, "Thessalar? You're Kidding Right? The guy who has his own monster named after him?)

Hey Rakshaka, have you read JollyDoc's (JosephJolly here at Paizo) AoW Story Hour at Enworld? He had some fun with Thessalar which you might enjoy reading about. I can dig up a link if you want (I'm too lazy right this second). Basically he used polymorph any object on a nightstand to great and hilarious effect. He also included a few old friends in that fight which seemed to fit in nicely. Check it out.

Link me up! I have already thoroughly enjoyed Peruhain's story hour, but want to read takes on adventures I'm getting ready to do (the last two).

There's no doubt that Peruhain is writing a fine story. I'm enjoying it immensely and I'm pretty sure that he has a few more updates to add (ahem!). So that's a good one, but he's obviously in the first several adventures still. More helpful for me than you endgame types.
JollyDoc has a group of pretty serious gamers who are all about making insanely powerful characters. They have recently finished AoW and are now starting Savage Tide. I found the Story Hour to be riveting. You can find it here. Enjoy!
