These creatures are takin from the old Fiend Folio: The Babbler, Bonesnapper and Qullan. They would fit perfectly on the Isle of Dread, perfect cept' there are no updated stats on these creatures as far as I know. The Babbler according to FF Is a weird mutation of Lizard Man(Folk), that I'll put a barbarian class on and make him a very stupid, brutish bully type in the Lizard Folk tribe. My Bonesnappers don't resemble that awful pic In the old FF, but picture a velociraptor crossed with a Fang Dragon minus the wings a T-Rex looking head and thick lower jaw. Also very athletic, alot of endurance and very "Dead Game"! Like a Pit Bull In Dino form! And then there Is the Qullan who In my game Is the silent and very deadly first mate to the devilishly handsome,quick-witted and sarcastic Captain "Aries Hawke"(think of "Sawyer" on LOST). If anyone has updated info on the creatures mentioned please drop a line thanx.

Check out enworld.org for some conversion. I printed out their version of the Qullan a while back. I think I also found one or both of the other two you are looking for.

Thanx Bill I'll have to check that out! Anyone else going to use/using other creatures In Savage Tide that aren't listed In the adventure path? Esp. for some random encounters on the Isle?

One that I will definitely be using is the Needletooth Swarm from MMIII. It's a swarm of tiny dinosaurs, CR 6. Imagine one little dinosaur walking out on a limb near the party and looking at them quizzically. It makes a high pitched trilling noise, indicating curiuosity about the big creatures it has found. Ahh, cute little guy! Then it hisses, and hundreds of identical dinosaurs begin dropping out of the jungle on the characters, ripping into their flesh...

Great Idea Cthulhu, Myself being a big Ant Geek can't resist putting a giant version of the large Amazon Bullet Ant on the Isle of Dread. It's said to have the most painful sting of any insect, actually feels like gettin shot some victims have claimed. And along with nausau, vomiting and even paralysis. Also a large swarm of driver Ants raiding the jungle for food may be intresting? Another thing I'm working on Is a creature the PC's are going to encounter as they're waking up on shore when they reach the Isle of Dread Is a a half-fiend(Vrock)/half-advanced Seagull named "Myne" who the PC's will notice Is trying to steal weapons and food and whatever else It can get at. "Myne" Is to provide a little comic relief, a little mistrust and a lot of problems. He Is actually the lone survivor of the one Pazuzu worshipping cult on the Isle. The rest were killed by followers of Demogorgon, He seeks revenge and tries to get the PC's to unknowingly help while making the PC's believe He Is helping them. He is cowardly but makes up for that with his cunning, theivery,spell-like abilities and greedy opportunistic nature. "Myne" talks but very little, what mostly comes out of his mouth is mine,mine,mine...hence his name"Myne".
