The doctor does step forward once all of the wolves have been killed...
and then sighs as the woman goes around slinging heals everywhichway, It might aid me in helping these people if I could see what ails them, before you seal up all of their wounds and burn away any evidence I may find of infection or the cause of this. Perhaps if you recommend a doctor's help, you should allow him to see the patients. The doctor snaps churlishly... it seems you may have hurt the doctor's feelings.
The doctor bends over the exploded remains of the wolves and tries to determine if the disease was natural or magical.

"Sorry Doc. Don't fancy letting my wounds fester while you poke at 'em. Hopefully the dead guy'll give you all the samples you need." Balak says with a smirk.
Well if the big strong warrior would allow me to examine him before he gets overwhelmed by a papercut, I could tell if he is possibly sealing sickness into his body, rather than helping himself. The doctor quips, barely looking up from his work.
The doctor uses his scalpel to slice open one of the pustules

Using Charmed Life to add +2 to saving throw, 2 uses/day remaining. Kurvast also has a wand of CLW, so to save time I hope it alright to add that to Maxine's queue.

Weapons retrieved and wounds mended from the recent fight, Kurvast lingers outside the foreman's tent, watching as the alchemist examines the corpse.
"I expected sickness, not this... violation." He glances back toward the entrance of the camp, where petals still lie scattered about scraps of fur.
"What do you find, doctor?"

Dr. Jedidiah Mor |

Wait until I have finished. The doctor says, taking some of the healthy looking flesh off of the corpse and touching it to the goo that comes out of the pustule, being careful to only use his tools, not letting it touch his skin.
The doctor's focused gaze runs analytically over his small experiment.

@Kurvast : no problem, Maxime is here to be sure everyone survive this mission !
Maxime followed Jdidiah in the tent, trying to observe the corps, in hope to find anything unusual on it.

If everyone is Ok, I think we need to go look at this weird field with the grove filled with these strange flowers.
Said Maxime to her comrade.
No one else need magical heal ?

Lars smiles at Maxime. "Thak you, milady, I feel like myself again. I suppose we had better get oon our way. I don't fancy the thought of this disease spreading further."

Dr. Jedidiah Mor |

"I have learned all I can learn here... I need to investigate these flowers now..." The doctor says simply, standing and moving up out of the tent.
he stretches slightly, not liking the feeling of cramped muscles....

Lars will wait for the doctor to complete his examination, then make ready to move out with the rest of the group for the field the lumberman told them about.

It takes just under an hour to get to the fields thanks to your guide, you get the feeling you may have saved some time thanks to him.
The forest parts to show a path, that leads into a glade. Man-made rows of bright flowers paint this wide glade in hues of red, orange, and yellow. A warm breeze blows out of the field, and the pleasant odor of the countless blossoms fills the air and permeates the whole forest.
How do you approach?

Lars speaks softly to his companions: "Shall we rush in, or perhaps try to approach from multiple directions? I'm not very stealthy myself, but I'm also not opposed to finding a tactical advantage where possible."

Maxime thanked their guide.
She responded to Lars
We don't know exactly what happened here, may be some creature is here or it's these flowers who gave the sickness. I think it's more prudent to stik together, Dr. do you know all theses flowers ?

"Let's not rush in just yet. Patience. Let's hold back in the trees for a while and see if anyone is tending te crop." Balak says. He peers out over the fields to see what he can see.

I agree. Diplomacy is always a good way to start. But, If some of you are stealthy don't show up, surprise is also a good weapon.
Weapon sheated, Maxime moved to the two hooded figures, hand up in sign of peace.
When at voice range she said.

With a flick of his wrist the alchemist propels the vial into the center of the patch of flowers, the vial shatters into an explosion of flames and glass.
