Subscription Offer Changes

Since we raised the cover price of our magazines a few issues ago, many of you have been anticipating an increase in the subscription price as well.

Well, we've worked up a plan that allows us to keep the current 12-issue subscription price intact for the foreseeable future. In order to do that, though, we're no longer offering 24- and 36-issue subscriptions. However, we're introducing a new 6-issue subscription, and, of course, the month-to-month subscription is still available.

Here's the press release.

Sorry... but the point of not offering them anymore is that the economics of the long-term discounts no longer make sense for us with rising paper prices and shipping costs. So giving people warning would be like saying "Here's your last chance to make us potentially lose money!"

But I love the 3 year and not for savings reasons. I love ordering and not worrying about re-upping every year. I don't care if 3 years costs the same or even a little bit more than 3-1 yrs, the convenience of not worrying about something for 3 years is muy attractive. Please reconsider the 3 year even if you have to offer it at no saving over 3-1 year or with a slight % increase to account for inflation. I love giving Paizo money. I understand that pricing increases and that to produce the amazing quality that you do requires the dubloons to pay the people involved, but you guys need to consider ways to still offer extended subscriptions. Please.

Well, we have the month-to-month option, which you need not worry about lapsing...

Couldn't you actually buy 3 one-year subscriptions, which would be what you're asking for, FH?

For example, I have 10 or 11 issues left on each of my subscriptions. If I went and bought a one-year sub right now, wouldn't that just tack onto the end of my current subscription, giving me 22 or 23 remaining issues?

That's how it works, yes.

So I could buy 3-1 year subscriptions and have 3 years of Dungeon and not 3 copies of Dungeon per month?

If so then cool!

FH

Does that mean that theoretically one could purchase a subscription for the next 10 years all at once?
