Does issue #290 include the Forgotten Realms Map? This thread hints that it could go either way...

Are they simple scans, or are they actual OCR'ed text? If they have 'backgrounds', can I delete them, or can I 'turn them off' so they don't print?

These are in fact way better than scans or OCR'd text. They are produced from the original art files that we send to the printer to print the actual magazines.

There is one drawback, however: None of these issues include the fiction which may have been in the printed copy, nor do they include "What's New with Phil & Dixie". This is due to licensing restrictions. (They do include all the other comics, though.)

I don't remember offhand if the Forgotten Realms map is included with Dragon 290.

Looking at the PDF files, I don't see the Forgotten Realms map, so it appears the answer is "no."

The download for Dragon issue #290 has been updated to include the map. Anyone who has already purchased this download may download the updated version for free at your downloads page.

I've just discovered some problems with the most recent Dragon PDF products. You might want to hold off purchasing them until I've fixed the problems.

I will post again once the products are fixed.
