Sound ambience for STAP

Savage Tide Adventure Path

Hi!

If anyone finds a long ambience sample that includes waves crashing against the shore, seagulls, port noises then please let me know. I would like to have it looped under the game session so it should be as long as possible.

Many thanks for any advice!

Try something like this. Google for 'Sounds of Nature' etc.

I like this one.

Go check out the 'new age' shops where you live or sometimes even the 'easy listening' section of your local record/media shop. I got mine from Virgin. Could try ebay for cheaper deals.

I know a lady who does Reiki that uses them during her work. Sometimes health centres that have alternative medicines and treatments have a stand of relaxing nature CDs like oceans, forests, rain etc.

Just have a good look around and you should find lots at dirt cheap prices. :)

Here's some help (thanks to the Battlgrounds RPG Links & Resources page):

I found out that the best way to generate a non looped semi realistic environment is to make it in the Neverwinter Toolset. I created a small room and dropped in seagull noises, seashore, shipdeck noises, ship bell sounds, even some sailors speaking, shouting. You can set shuffling frequency, the volume change rate with each play of the sound, everything... the perfect tool! I can recommend it only!

(ofcourse you have to have the game running and be in the room as a DM or player. Put it on the speakers, mix a huge playlist of other ambient music over it and there you go :)

I have uploaded the modules i made with the sounds to www.elderbrain.com/x/STAPsounds.zip

I would suggest loading and listening to them in the NWN Toolset as i was unable to turn the background ambience of in the jungle mod.

If anyone has a version I would love to check it out!
