Now that alot of people are getting deeper into this game im wndering what prestige classes people have taken their games, have you guys been happy or disapointed with them
(name of class and book its in please)
In our game we have
Master of Shrouds Librum Mortis, The best part of the class are the first summon the shadows they have killed alot of things in our game
Cerbromancer Psionic Handbook, Just wish it would keep going like the true necromancer does only flaw
Dragon Desciple DMG, Great with a Fighter and a level of Sorcerer
The Tempest Complete Adventurer, Great class used with monkey grip and a double weapon
The Champion of Collarion Larathon Races of the Wild, gave us a greater respect for the differnt metal types for armor
Sometype of Raging Archer out of the Sword and Sorcery book for Fighters Rangers and Barbarians player has not been there enough to see if its any good
The Living Blade out of the Quienestial Fighter, mixed with the Tempest he has become a very solid character with that Large Double Sword
I think our cleric is going to go into Heirophant for a level or two
I was going to go into Arch Mage but I hate Skill Focus
We have been pretty happy so far with our choice in classes

Two of my players are both heading for kensai. One's an aasimar samurai, the other's a halfling monk. Its given me a good excuse to urge them towards heroic deeds, in order for their liege lord to accept their oath of service, and to come up with an ancient order of kensai for them to join. Assuming that they do something suitably impressive in the service of their lord (the local baron).
I don't think any of my other three players have got definite plans, if any at all. I think I might ask them about that at the next session.

Let's see here...
The halfling rogue is going rogue all the way (other than that barbarian level).
The big dumb fighter is going fighter all the way (other than that bard level).
The ambiguously-gendered elf ranger just picked up Order of the Bow Initiate.
The cleric picked up Radiant Servant of Pelor.
And the wizard has some convoluted 20-level plan that involves loremaster, archmage and ardent savant.

I've got a
cleric/thaumaturgist
dragonmarked warmage/fighter/phantom knight (eberron) [fudged this one a bit to make the cool concept happen]
cleric/paladin (1 level cleric for lots of turn undead to use with divine feats, going paladin all the way)
fighter/ranger/exotic weapon master/champion of correllion laerethon/renvant blade (eberron) [changed the concept of CoCL to champion of the ancestors to fit the Valenar of Eberron.]
That's what I got. Think the fighter/ranger... is also going to pick up kensai at some point.

Two Groups:
Eye of Horus Re, which I am assuming is similar to the Radient Servant, this one has Greater Turning 3+cha times a day. Combine with empower turning, extra turning and quicken turning and lots of minions go by by, although it wasn't as effective as I thought because in the Spire most of the monsters have improved turn resistance.
Paladin-Human Paragon- WarMind, just a beast with the two handed Maul, liches watch out, those bones are brittle.
Psion-LoreMaster, with +1 arcane/divine spell casting converted to +1 manifester level. Use Magic Device and high spell craft make him just like a mage for detect psionics checks.
Rnager-Rogue- Stalker of Kharash, with favored enemy-evil and nemesis- evil, and improved favored enemy evil, does +4 +1d6 dmg to evil creatures, not including if it stacks with undead, where you only get the dmg modifies once, but the +1d6 from the nemesis feat stacks. Once he gets bane of enemies at 21st level the bad guys are in for it.
Second Group:
PsiWarrior/Ranger/Harper Paragon with Vow of Poverty (makes claws of the beast magic weapons) will also go nemesis-favored enemy evil -bane of enemies root. is an Aasimar with outsider wings feat from RoF.
Ranger-Paladin(Mystic Fire Knight)- Smite attackes disrupt spell casting (champions of Valor FOR), Ranged Smite, Extra Smite, and Divine Might. Uses Bow to pack a whollop. Human
Cleric-Wizard- Mystic Theurge, also of mystra, will take Dwemerkeeper at level 17 from faiths and pantheons.
Ftr-Sorc-EK_?Raumarthi Battle Mage? Spring attacking Arcane strike wielding bad ass, channeling spells through Sword to Crush enemits- Feytouched. Arcane Preparation Feat as well allows for Quickend casting.
Anyways, thats my two groups.

This'll take a little explanation since some of them are Eberron PRC's, so bear with me...
Changeling Ftr/Rog - Guild Master. Custom. A combination of a third-party Kingpin PRC, Legendary Leader from Heroes of Battle, and some rules from the DMG 2 about running a guild.
Shifter Mnk - Ninja of the Crescent Moon. Sword and Fist.
Elf Sor - Dragon Prophet. Magic of Eberron. The archmage Manzorian's prized pupil... enters "prophetic favor" for some special bonuses to spells.
Halfling Wzd - Cataclysm Mage, Exploring Eberron; Heir of Siberys, Eberron CS. My FAVE PRC for this campaign... AOW fits very well with the "researching the cataclysms that ended the previous Ages" background. NOTE: As a member of the house of healing, his Siberys Mark allows him to cast MASS HEAL once or twice a day, which acts like a small-scale tactical nuke against undead :O
Half-Elf Drd - Dragonmark Heir. Eberron CS. A member of the House of Storms with Leadership, has her own airship thanks to her Windwright Ace cohort (Exploring Eberron).

Only one player has a prestige class so far, but I'm sure some others will pick one up eventually.
Shaifter Ranger/Weretouched Master
Changeling Rogue
Human Shadowcaster
Human Barbarian
Human Binder
The binder and shadowcaster will probably stay pure, but if the rogue doesn't pick up something to help against all of the undead in this campaign, I'll be surprised. I'm sure the barbarian is just looking for the perfect prestige class, but hasn't found it yet.

We just started WC last month, but the future plans are as follows:
elf wizard/force missle master/argent savant
diabolus barbarian/favored soul/disciple of thrym
human monk/tattoed monk
half-elf thug/occult slayer
draconic human rogue/sorcerer/arcane trickster
Plans change often. The rest of the group (human cleric and draconic dwarf fighter) haven't said anything about any PrC yet.

Cleric 5 / Rogue 2 / Shadowbane Stalker 3
Druid 3 / Diviner 3 / Mystic Theurge 2 / Arcane Heirophant 2
Ogre / Fighter 4 [1]
Paladin 7 (follower of the cleric) [2]
[1] I'll be looking to guide him to Kensai in about 4 more levels, once he's got his wirlwind attack etc; we'll see what the player thinks (is a plot device as much as anything, to have him make an oath to Law - not essential but gives him access to a magic weapon he's otherwise unlikely to get given his size)
[2] She'll be taking Shining Blade of Heironeous at 10th level.

My group is still in Whispering Cairn, but so far the Warforged Fighter is planning for Warforged Juggernaut (Eberron) and the Marshall plans on taking levels in Legendary Leader (Heroes of Battle). The Archivist/Savant is debating between taking levels of Thaumaturgist or sticking with Archivist for the long run. The only one that looks like won't multiclass is the battle dancer.

The half-orc ranger might take one or two dread commando levels (Heroes of Battle).
The human rogue will take his first invisible blade level at 6 (Complete Warrior).
The lizard-folk druid might go war shaper (Complete Warrior).
The elf scout will probably go straight scout.
UPDATE:
The above half-orc ranger is now moving toward Stalker of Kharash (Exhalted Deeds).
