Couple of rules questions...Otilukes Resilient Sphere

Ok I need some things clarified here about Otilukes Resilient Sphere.

Last combat the party popped one around an opponent cleric. Can the cleric stand in it and cast Mass Cure Serious Wounds spells in it to affect his companions? or does the Sphere block the spell effect.

The Sphere is hard to destory, but can you teleport out of if?

What about spells like charm person and such can they pass through it?

I am assuming that spells like lighting bolt and fireball will not pass through it.

Well, referencing just the SRD, I'd have thought that, as it's a force effect [and thus technically solid], it would block line of effect on any spell [qv line of effect details and Wall of Force description].

Thus, it would be likely that the cleric in the example couldn't mass cure anyone outside the sphere, nor could he be hit by charm person, fireball or lightning bolt...

However, I wonder if the cleric could teleport or dimension door out? Wall of Force doesn't block them, but it's a plane, not a sphere - the force effect blocks ethereal transit, but don't the aforementioned spells use the astral?

Any thoughts?

Nothing can pass through the sphere, so it blocks line of effect.

Sure. Force effects do not necessarily block teleportation, and you don't need line of effect (except to yourself, which you always have).

No, because the sphere blocks line of effect.

Correct, because the sphere blocks line of effect.
