The scene in the first Terminator movie where the skeletal T-100 (?) is charging down the hallway when they're trying to shut the door. And then proceeds to crash the door in. Gave me nightmares when I was a kid (I was only...ten, I think, when I first saw that movie).

Any relentless and inhuman figure that chases down a person for the sole purpose of killing said person tends to give me creeps.

A buddy of mine solved that problem in his homebrew world by making the white dragons just as powerful (or close to it) as red dragons. He always thought that the idea of a dragon being a stupid inbreed was ridiculous.

D&D has so many good choices. I've always wanted Tricertops riding mindflayers.

However if forced to choose a favorite I'd have to depart from D&D entirely and put up: Dark Young of Shubnigurath.
