Hey everybody - I realize that this is a long shot to the nth degree, but as this is the only web forum I regularly participate in, I thought I'd give it a shot:
Do you love metalcore? Do you have savage double kicks? Do you live in the greater Seattle area? Do you know what those first two sentences meant? If so, please visit http://seattle.craigslist.org/muc/129669429.html for further details.
The abridged version: an old bandmate and I are starting up a new melodic metalcore project (ala Killswitch Engage, Thrice, etc.), and we need a quality drummer. If you have any leads, please email james.sutter@paizo.com. (You can hear an extremely rough instrumental demo of the sort of things we're writing at http://www.jmcarroll.com/DeadliftGuitars.mp3.)
Rock!

I've taken the liberty of cross-posting this to the "Hook-Up" board of a certain well known website whose name resembles, but is not, in fact, SuicideGith. Given the musical interests of most of the members there, and the prominence that D&D books and polyhedral dice have in certain *ahem* media sets that that site publishes, it seems like a natural match.

Awesome! The farther the word spreads, the better. Thanks, Baudot!

I know a drummer in Seattle, a good one at that. He's very versatile but the question will be-How many gigs, how often and how much?
At this point, the answer is probably not much of either for a while - I've done the whole "working band" thing to some extent, and life these days (not to mention Dungeon) doesn't leave me quite that amount of free time. So yeah - there will undoubtedly be shows, but this one's all for love.

Seattle huh? Bummer, could probably find you people if you were in Texas... try looking up the guys from Bloodhag. I'm sure they might have some ideas, and your Dungeon association would probably impress them.
Ha! Oh man, Bloodhag... even if you don't like hardcore, you have to give those guys props. Yay for literacy!
