It was on purpose. The Twisted Run is such a complex labyrinth that a map would have caused more problems than it solved. When you get down to it... labyrinths just aren't that fun to play in D&D. We probably should have provided a map of the final enconter area... but alas, there was no map in the original turnover and we didn't have time, budget, or space to do another map for the issue.

I appreciate your candor. It shouldn't be hard for me to find some free maps from WotC to fill in the gaps. Just thought it was weird was all. Thanks for the quick response.
