I am missing something obvious. How come the Apostle of Kyuss gets 2 bite attacks?
'Cause it always makes sure to chew its food thoroughly?
Seriously, I don't have the mag here with me, but I do recall it only had one mouth. What was it's speed? Is it fast enough to bite at two opponents in one round?

The Apotsle of Kyuss stat block has included the effects of bull's strength, haste, and shield of faith +6. The Apostolic Scrolls grant these benefits permanently on the Apostle if it has reached max hp and is released by the tiefling cleric (during the final round). Due to haste it then gets two bite attacks

Just remember that, due to the new spell description of Haste in 3.5, it only gets that extra bite when it takes a Full Attack action.
