Dungeon 112 - Looking for a print copy

Dungeon Magazine General Discussion

Hello all. Looking through issue 124s "Chamber of Antiquities", and Maure Castles 3.5 revision in issue 112 interests me. I see that Paizo only sells the pdf. I was wondering if there was any way I could snag a print copy, whether from a website or if anyone has a copy they don't want anymore. Also, Paizo people, out of curiosity, why is there no back issue available in print?
Thanks, all.

I think the print run sold out, so you can only pick up print copies from E-bay or other 3rd parties.

I think that we're all going to have to get used to PDF's, as I think that is where things are headed down the road for much of the industry.

I had issue #82 on order from Paizo, but they sold out and haven't made the PDF availalble yet, so I got on E-bay and picked it up for around $9.

I have heard mention that #112 was one of the best selling Dungeon magazines of all time. It was in the top 10 for sure. I love 3.5 remakes of classic modules.

That's what appealed to me. Time to check ye olde eBay.

Thanks.

We sold out of issue #112. Once we sell out of an issue, we can then offer PDF copies for sale.

Yeah, but it takes a while doesn't, because I've noticed that only a few of the out of print issues appear to be available on PDF...correct me if I'm wrong.

Yup. We can't just slap the magazine online immediately. It has to be laid out again into a PDF. And before that, it has to have all its content approved and we have to make sure we have all the rights to reprint the art and whatnot. I've no real idea how long the process takes, but it's long enough that it gets bumped to the back burner while more important things are going on, like laying out magazines about to go to print.

Kay, guys. I guess I'll have to take one guy on eBay up on his offer. Thanks.
