When PCs rely too much on accompanying NPCs...

Liberty's Edge

Just realized (well, I am probably the last one to realize it) and wanted to share with you how great FLAWS are for NPCs!
I read through Dragon #333 and came to "Class Acts" where there are shown some flaws for wizards.
Afterwards I browsed my UA to take a closer look at the topic. Because presently I have a group of only two players, I gave them an NPC-Wizard (bot players are no spell-throwing types). They started to rely too much on him (a gnome) and let him do the work as often as they could (or I let him)...
Anyway, with flaws like "Arcane Fatigue" and "Short of Breath" the whole thing is no issue anymore! The gnome got those feats after a terrible disease (as he was already in play and you normally are allowed to take flaws only at 1st level I thought this a good idea).

Anyway - just wanted to let you know how good this thing works! Just imagine a short-sighted wizard, a "Unreacitve" fighter, or an "Inantentive" rogue, and so on...

Anyone who did this as well?
