Downer and Kyle's mini-monsters online

The last few Downers, as well as an archive of all the monsters I've done are up on my gallery page now. superunicorn.com/kyle I'll get all of the Downer "back issues" up eventually. It's a matter of bandwidth on the server and man hours. Perhaps I can at least post them in B&W. The blog will be up once Sean gets back into town and helps me set it up.

Once you get caught up on the story line it certainly made the comic that much more enjoyable. There was just too much going on.

Thanks for the Downer pages!

Now if only a few more Dungeon guru's could get their acts together and put up their long ago promised personal files to their web sites...

Thanks for the interest folks. I'm going to experiment with a more self-contained format as the principles make an excusion to the Overbright. It always made sense to me, because I always had them all here to look at. The criticism that Downer is generally too hard to follow has been heard. Now I just have to become a more disciplined writer.

I'm glad to be lumped in as a Dungeon guru. Erik had always promised to list me as Editorial Adjunct. I take Craig's last line to be a sweet Erik Mona burn. Yeah, he's been promising to get his stuff on Super Unicorn as well for a while now. At least he's finally got himself a new Mac. I've even seen it! Sean Glenn's got a sweet blog at superunicorn.com/sean I've just discovered that link off my site is goofy.

And hush ASEO, I don't think I was supposed to do that.

You weren't.

Bastard.

And Craig Clark, I feel appropriately burned. I take it you're waiting for the Ouija Kid write-up I've been promising for ages?

Any other requests?

The Age of Worms Adventure Path outline has eaten most of my "personal" writing time over the last couple months. I trust the wait will be worth it.

No fair!

It's no fun knowing you have a blog if we can't read it.

Do you really want to go there with people like me on the boards? ;-)

This has almost nothing to do with this thread, but Kyle's avatar image made me think of it... has the osquisp been written up for 3e? or better yet 3.5?

Well Kyle does have links to your web page, Erik...err what will be your web page...

I would love to see anything that was excised from the LGG, if thats possible, I remember seeing some stuff on WoTC's boards a long time ago about Vecna and Sulm. But I too struggle with balancing my hobby with my work, so no worries about the time frame.

Yup. The osquip is in Races of Faerun, page 176.

(Who has a blog too, but it's not as fancy as Kyle's, alas)

<sigh> I knew I was going to end up needing to get all those Realms books. I was hoping to save my wallet some pain and avoid it for the time being.

Why do the best monsters get scattered to the more obscure books?

There is a blog up, but I'm trying to get in the habit of posting there multiple times a week before I open it up to the public. I'd hate to say "go look at my blog" and then have a single post that says "so I'm blogging, now."

I suspect it'll be public by middle of next week.

I'll eventually have a website with the excised LGG stuff. In the meantime, here are direct links to some of that stuff from Canonfire. There are two extended pieces, one on Nyrond and one on Furyondy, that have never appeared publically. You'll have to wait for those.

Very cool, thanks for the links. I somehow missed those.

And maybe you could twist Mr. Weining's arm about the mysterious places that he was going to put on his website?

I will look forward to when you get your site up and running.

Sadly, I haven't spoken to Fred in a couple of years. He's not even online anymore, as far as I know.
