Our group finished "Queen with Burniung Eyes" (Dungeon #113) and they all raved about it. Players were particulalry excited to see Mini Tiles put to good use, since we don't play Minis. The players in our group really enjoyed the visual addition the tiles engendered. Plus, I did not have to draw very much on the mat.
And, I thought it was helpful for the miniature suggestions provided at the adventure's beginning. Sure, we can pick our own subjects to represent each NPC, but it was cool to have a convenient list. I was able to order each recommended mini from eBay - very useful, I thought.
It was a nice change in style. I don't mind switching gears in our gameplay, and James Wyatt did a great job in providing that type of change with QwBE.
So, thanks. The players really liked the adventure. I am excited to see five to six Eberron adventures in Dungeon a year. Props to Dungeon. The magazine keeps getting better and better.

Queen with the Burning eyes was a waste of space, anyone can right a dungeon crawl of this simplicity and i was particularly unimpressed by even more spce in my favorite magazine being taken up with stuff about DnD miniatures, i stopped buying dragon because of those little plastic annoyances, don't let Dungeon go the same way please, i like to paint my miniatures and i like them well cast and i like to know what i'm buying, so DnD miniatures will never have a place on my gaming shelf, and they have no worthy place in the pages of your fine magazine, thankfully you made up for it with your fantastic adventure path, thankyou for your time

Dissenting opinion here.
While I found the adventure to be adequate (despite it not having a section for adapting it to a more "core" setting - though, admittedly, it didn't really need it in this particular circumstance), I found the map to be one of the ugliest, uninspired, and least usable things since creation, and wasn't happy with the whole miniature suggestion waste-of-space. They weren't even particularly useful suggestions, IMO.
(This has nothing to do with the miniatures themselves. It's entirely about how they were presented in Dungeon - which, IMO, they shouldn't be at all.)
Not a good start for Eberron in Dungeon, IMO. I'm not looking forward to other Eberron adventures.

I used Fractal Mapper by NBos. I haven't thought of converting other maps because they were readable enough. This particular map I just knew I wouldn't be able to read at the gaming table. And in remaking the map, I pulled out the miniature tiles to check them since the map in the magazine was so dark I couldn't tell what was what.
Hey, if you ever notice any other maps that are hard to read, I'd be willing to convert them to a more readable format.

MoD, your maps are nice - very good job. I ran QwBE a while ago, but I saved your creations in case there I run it again in the future. You should post those at the Eberron General Forum, here: ( http://boards1.wizards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=503 ). I am sure many there will appreciate them.

I enjoyed this adventure. I didn't use it for Eberron. I used it for my Diamond Throne campaign using Monte Cook's Arcana Unearthed.
It was very easy to use in a non-Eberron setting. The players sure had fun bullrushing things into the pit.
Mayhem and scowls >:

I agree with Jaws on this one for i too had adapted the adventure to the forgotten realms with no trouble at all.
