“The ray hits you, rendering you exhausted.” “Exhausted? That’s the one where I can only take partial actions, right? Or is it just a penalty to my rolls?”

The core rules contain a wide variety of conditions which can apply to a character. Not only is it often hard to remember what each condition does, in a protracted battle it may even be able to remember which conditions currently apply to a character!

These status cards solve all that. They’re a very simple concept, both in usage and design. Whenever a condition applies to a character, the GM need simply hand the player the appropriate card. The player then lays the card down in front of his character sheet. Each card not only reminds everyone which conditions apply, it also provides details of what the condition does.

The result? Less time fumbling through rulebooks or trying to remember what’s going on. And one less thing to worry about in combat is always a good thing!

These Status Cards were lovingly crafted for EN Publishing by the cardsmiths at The Other Game Company.

Cards included: Ability Damaged, Ability Drained, Blinded, Blown Away, Checked, Confused, Cowering, Dazed, Dazzled, Dead, Deafened, Disabled, Dying, Energy Drained, Entangled, Exhausted, Fascinated, Fatigued, Flat-footed, Frightened, Grappling, Helpless, Incoporeal, Invisible, Knocked Down, Nauseated, Panicked, Paralyzed, Petrified, Pinned, Prone, Shaken, Sickened, Stable, Staggered, Stunned, Unconscious, Turned.

If you’re looking for a quick, easy and satisfying way to handle money—all those pesky silver and gold pieces floating around your adventurers—look no further, as Fantasy Money is here to help.

You've heard about a lot of "ultimate" gaming products. You've heard of hundreds which are "essential".

Well, you're about to hear about the real deal—the actual ultimate gaming product! A product which fits into every d20 fantasy game, wherever it's set and whatever level your characters are. It's as universal as a battlemat—but cooler!

FANTASY MONEY—in one simple swoop, remove the itty bitty fiddly money management from your game! You don't need to record every silver piece spent, track money as it's passed between characters or (not that this would ever happen!) wonder if your players' wealth totals are entirely "accurate".

Because with Fantasy Money, when you spend money, all you do is hand that amount of money to the GM. And when you find treasure, he hands money to you. You don't have to track it—what you have is what you've got!

Plus, we all know how props can enhance a game. I've been using Monopoly money for months now; my players love it. I love it. Transactions are so much cooler. But I have to use Monopoly money no more, because here comes FANTASY MONEY!

Additionally, we’ve added two documents as a bonus. The first, titled Fantasy Money Tray, includes a whole bunch of different Do-It-Yourself trays to hold your money during play. These come in different sizes, just as the money itself, and also feature neutral versions, for those of you who don’t mind mixing the different money cards and just need a place to store them. The second document is a blank version of the money cards with form fields so you can make any money card you like with whatever denomination.

Fantasy Money can be printed in greyscale on coloured card (green for copper, yellow for gold, blue for silver and white for platinum). You could choose to print in colour on white card (resulting in actual copper, gold, silver and platinum coloured money). You could also do either of the above using paper instead of card, if you prefer a more "real-world" bill feel.

Most spellcasters' main job, besides healing and dealing damage, is buffing—they enhance the prowess of the other party members or themselves. But once the buff spells start flying, it can be pretty hard to keep track of all these changes and additions to the PCs stats and abilities. Enter: the Buff Cards. These cards help you with that. They're a very simple concept, both in usage and design. Whenever a buff spell is cast on a PC or another creature, the GM need simply hand the player the appropriate card. The player then lays the card down in front of his character sheet. Each card not only reminds everyone which conditions apply, it also provides details of what the condition does. The result? Less time fumbling through rulebooks or trying to remember what's going on. And one less thing to worry about in combat is always good!

    Colour Code:
  • Competence—Dark Blue
  • Defense (Armor, Shield, DR, etc.)—Orange
  • Deflection—Light Red
  • Dodge—Yellow
  • Enhancement—Light Green
  • Insight -Light Blue
  • Luck—Dark Green
  • Morale—Purple
  • Resistance—Dark Red
  • Size—Brown
  • Everything else—Grey

How to use these cards: It's simple! Print them out on card (either in colour or greyscale—your preference; just pick the right PDF: -C for colour, -G for greyscale), cut them out and hey presto! It might be worth making a couple of decks, because often more than one PC will be affected by a given condition. Three or four sets might be a good number. There's a separate document for all mass buff spells, of which you'll need only one set.
