Inner Sea Magic aims to let you build characters around the people and places described in the Inner Sea World Guide. You can dabble in all the forbidden arts you’ve only read about, letting your spellcasters dip their toes into any of seven new variant magics, from riffle scroll casting to primal magic to hideous fleshwarping. They can study their chosen arts at any of eleven of Golarion’s most exclusive magical organizations like Korvosa’s conjuration-focused Academae, the secretive Harrowed Society, or the opulent Kintargo Opera House. With knowledge to guide them, your magic-users can settle into any of 19 campaign-rattling class archetypes, refining yourself as a Chelish Diva or Varisian Tattooed Sorcerer. And then comes dozens of new spells! Warp your enemies’ body with fleshcurdle, take control of their limbs from afar with martial marionette, curse them with a pugwampi's grace, or add the spells of legendary magicians to your repertoire with Aroden's spellbane, Geb's hammer, and Khain's army. It’s all good! (Unless you get afflicted with pugwampi's grace. Then, not so good.)

Need somebody to look up to? We've included a listing of all the famous casters of the Inner Sea for your budding spellcaster to admire, whether it's the alchemical legend Artokus Kirran, crafter of the youth-granting sun orchid elixir, or the playwright of "Six Trials of Larazod", Lokoris. Fear is a great teacher as well, and adventurers would do well to know the names of some of the most notorious Inner Sea spellcasters. Some names have drifted into the annals of history, buried in dusty tomes, but others like Baba Yaga, The Widow Queen Kaltessa Iyis, Imperial Majestrix Abrogail Thrune II of Cheliax, and Arazni are just the sort of people you don't want to attract the attention of in the present days of the Inner Sea.
