With the latest, we dial back a few months to Pathfinder Adventure Path #39: The City of Seven Spears to feature Chivane! Chivane, a fabled Red Mantis assassin from Mediogalti Island, is ready to grace your favorite battlemat. Renowned for speed, skills, and stealth, her band of crimson-clad warriors follow He Who Walks in Blood, the assassin of the gods—Achaekek, the Mantis God! Wielding their iconic sawtooth sabers in a distinctive style, even a lone Red Mantis assassin can be a fearsome foe. Chivane, as a Red Mantis leader, is never as alone as she appears to be, and a squad of her fellow assassins could be lurking in the shadows. Whether she is a friend or foe for your PCs remains to be seen, but in the Serpent's Skull Adventure Path, it could be either! In addition to Chivane, we have several more characters that like to engage in some skullduggery! The nameless Half-Orc Assassin and Depora Azrinae have crossbows at the ready, while Justice Ironbriar and The Skinsaw Man prefer the more straightforward war razors. I'm glad she doesn't come with a bow. I'd hate for her to shoot that poison arrow into a PC's heart.
