When you walk into Knight Watch Games, you are transported into a realm of magic, might and mischief. The interior will resemble a medieval castle's grand hall, complete with rock walls, timber ceiling, wooden floor, long tables and benches, weapons and armor on the walls, and two of the Lord's hounds happily greeting all guests. Soft Renaissance music and the glow of sconces set the tone of luxury, love, and luck. You might find all three at Knight Watch Games.
A major portion of the shop will be the tournament area, where long tables seat a full court of players for Magic:TG, Netrunner, Star Wars: X-Wing, Armada, and Imperial Assault. Casual, as well as high stakes tournaments, will be hosted every week. The better a player's match record, the higher up the banquet table they get to sit, with the ultimate goal of occupying one of the Lord's seats at the Noble's Table. This table is at the head of the grand hall and has antique chairs only fit for royalty. It is here that the reigning players fight for the top 8 positions in the tournaments. Video cameras will capture all the action and the footage will be stream lived on Twitch or edited for our YouTube channel. Play well and become renown throughout the realm.
Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, Shadow Run and many other RPGs can be played on the banquet tables, or you can rent our exclusive private room. The private room will be equipped with technologies that help DMs orchestrate their story, such as surround sound system, projector, and video cameras. Props, such as armor, weapons, wizard's bookshelves and tapestries from old will guarantee to set the perfect mood for your private gaming session.
Through a portal in the back, a guest will be teleported to a galaxy far far away. This area is dedicated to military and sci-fi wargaming. The walls are recovered sections of the Death Star. Towards one end of the room are the war remnants conflicts throughout history. Multiple tables designed specifically for war gaming can accommodate large gatherings of 40K, Dust, Malifaux, Warmachine and Battlemech.
In one corner of the store will be our reading nook. Leather couches, love seats, bookshelves, tables, rugs, and pleasant lighting will allow a guest to relax while gazing through the many tomes we have for sale. We will carry a full selection of Fantasy and Sci-Fiction best sellers.
The remainder of the store will be our retail space, where we will stock popular products including games from Fantasy Flight, Wizard's of the Coast, Paizo Publishing, Steve Jackson Games, Games Workshop, and many other quality publishers. We will sell a full range of gaming accessories as well as all the crafting material you may want. In addition to gaming material, we will also have costumes, LARP outfits, replica weapons, jewlery and makeup to ensure your next Renaissance faire is awesome.
