A Starfinder Society Scenario designed for 3rd- through 6th-level characters.
The insectile ghibranis of Elytrio live divided, with husk ghibranis living in the harsh desert wastelands and membrane ghibranis living a pampered life in automated cities. Inspired by positive relations with the Starfinder Society, two ghibranis are spearheading a social movement aimed at bridging this cultural divide—with limited success. Undeterred, the ghibranis Dystane and Klarima are planning a joint cultural event, intended to mend bridges, forge friendships, and foster understanding between their people. Who better to help them than the Starfinder Society? Travel to Elytrio to put on the grandest celebration Elytrio’s seen since the Gap!

Repeatable should have variants that differ for replays and I think this year both systems had repeatable that aren't just slightly different combat encounters but ones that feel interestingly different. I also like thematic irony with this one being "Well, starfinders lied(by absence of sharing information) for the greater good, so should you choose to do same this time as well or convince newcomer to be honest?" :D Its great direction to take newest yesteryear scenario
This was so much fun to play beginning to end. Got a copy for myself after since it's always worth it to run repeatables with so much variety. After looking under the hood, there's even more to do! Not only are there additional quests and different NPC guest stars for each replay, there's also 4 different possible festivals for the ghibrani to put together-- a music festival featuring (my favorite) klikharps and trox, a science fair, a parkway with carnival games, or a sports event. It's actually jam packed with great stuff and the character art for beasts and NPCs is fantastic.
This is an outstanding module with a little for everyone. Good combats, fun skill checks, and an all around fun time. Still my one complaint is that it doesn't fit the tone of season 6. This is a light hearted carnival like escapade and it rocks. But coming off of some of the more impactful modules it just feels weird to do a slice of life feel good module.
It is a very well designed repeatable as it has a lot to offer every time!
Thanks, I had forgotten about Yesteryear's Sorrow. I'll need to play through that first. I liked the story so excited to see it's getting a 3rd part or follow-up.
In my home game, the PCs revealed the truth to the membranes but not the husks. The membranes then hushed it up and basically locked out the Society, so this theme of reconciliation would fit my timeline just fine.
When this got scheduled locally, I made a point of running the previous two Elytrio adventures so that some of our group would have the full history. (#1-03 was one of the first SFS scenarios I ever played, but I'd never played #1-21. My wife and one of our other local GMs had never played either one.) I just played 'Hope tonight, and it was a blast! Thanks, HMM, for a fun adventure! I am eager to run it for the couple of players who played the first two with me but couldn't join us online tonight.
It'll probably be a long, long time before I ever get the chance to run this, but I should weigh in now that reading through this prompted in me (a home-game GM who will only ever run this once) that most poignant of complaints about repeatable scenarios: "Dang, I really want to include all three VIPs."
