Key aliens and NPCs from the Attack of the Swarm! Adventure Path come alive on your tabletop with the Attack of the Swarm! Pawn Collection, featuring more than 100 creature pawns for use with the Starfinder Roleplaying Game or any tabletop science-fantasy RPG! Printed on sturdy cardstock, each pawn presents a beautiful full-color image of an alien, NPC, or starship from the Attack of the Swarm! campaign, including the devouring Swarm, brave soldiers, beneficent mystics, and dozens of unique creatures.

The Attack of the Swarm! Pawn Collection, together with the creatures and characters from the Starfinder Alien Archive Pawn Box and Starfinder Core Rulebook Pawn Collection, provides pawns for nearly every Attack of the Swarm! encounter. Each cardstock pawn slots into a size-appropriate plastic base from the Alien Archive Pawn Box, making the pawns easy to mix with traditional metal or plastic miniatures. With tons of distinct images, the Attack of the Swarm! Pawn Collection brings to life the enemies and allies from all six adventures of the Attack of the Swarm! Adventure Path.

The enemies and allies of the Attack of the Swarm! Adventure Path come to life on your tabletop! Each has its own abbreviation and identification number for easy sorting. The Attack of the Swarm! Pawn Collection includes:

Lack of Gargantuan Pawns Reduces the Value

3/5

I understand Paizo has a long-standing policy of not creating pawns for gargantuan models.

But the final encounter of the AP is a gargantuan-sized boss. As you may be able to guess, he has no pawn.

Seems like a glaring oversight.

After Pathfinder Second Edition has killed our groups (plural) interest in playing Starfinder, Attack of the Swarm is probably the last and best hope of keeping Starfinder alive, so i am going to get this product.

That’s funny, our group finds 2e highly inferior to 1e (very repetitive, very gimmicky) and has turned to Starfinder for a palate cleanse. (“To each their own.”)

That being said, I’m super excited for all of the swarm pawns from this set!!

Eh, they've both got their pros and cons. I kind of view 2e to be a better and more mechanically gratifying version of DnD 5e but I personally prefer Starfinder over Pathfinder 2e. Part of that might be setting as I've always preferred sci-fi or science fantasy over straight fantasy.

Regardless, I'm biting back the urge to start Attack of the Swarm until I can get my hands on the pawn set. I've always really enjoyed the Paizo pawn sets and definitely want to have this one on hand.
