Who's this Mahathallah? Besides a mouthful I mean :-)
From Book of the Damned I: Princes of Darkness:
Mahathallah: Once a handmaiden of Pharasma, the Dowager of Illusions understands the temporary nature of all things better than most beings. It was said that she once begged her mistress to witness the moment of her own death and was granted her wish, f leeing to Asmodeus’s side in hopes of avoiding her fate. Now Mahathallah begins every morning as the beautiful celestial she once was, but ages throughout the day until she is little more than a repulsive skeleton. She cloaks herself in layers of illusion so as to never be reminded of the fate she has supposedly avoided.
I would have rather had Eiseth, the Erinyes Queen, to be honest. :)

I hope this one and the other volumes of this AP have some really interesting monsters that are not devils or related to hell in any way.
You do realize what this AP is about, yes?
That said, of COURSE we didn't limit ourselves to ONLY devils or Hell-themed stuff. But it's absolutely the strongest theme for the bestiary throughout.

James....any chance we will see an updated version of Cabal Devils ???
PLEEEAAAASSSSSEEEEEE!!!!!!!
Ahem...;)
Updated? They're already updated. They've always been in Pathfinder stats.
Whether or not a cabal devil shows up in the AP, though... I can't say yet. It's certainly possible.

Some thoughts on the deity article...
First, while I like Eiseth better, Mahathallah is probably the much more interesting/unique whore queen to write about. Plus, I always love the deity articles, especially now that we're looking at more obscure entities. I really enjoyed the Zyphus one, for example.
On that note, Brigh and Zyphus received Deific Obedience information in their articles. As of now, the devils are the big missing spot for obediences, which seems... ironic.
Will we finally be seeing an Infernal Obedience option?

I'd like that to happen. Demons get them; poor devils and daemons get left out in the cold.
Of course, if that were to happen, we'd have to get some 'retconned' ones for archdevils and such.

Actually, there's room for a divine obedience AND an infernal obedience. Lamashtu gets both a divine obedience and a demonic obedience, after all.
Though I'd expect to just get the divine obedience (which is compatible with the ISG prestige classes), since there's no precedent for infernal obediences.

Will there be a map of Vyre (population 17.300) in the Hell´s Rebel´s map-folio? I imagine Kintargo and Cheliax being the other two maps...
Also a "Devils Revisited" Campaign Setting would offer itself later this year. ;-)

I meant a correction of some of the problems in the Stat's (incorporeal conflict if memory serves)....

No. She'll have the regular one though.
The Demonic obediences were things I came up with based on elements from Green Ronin's demon book by Erik Mona. They've caught on, but going forward they'll be represented by the three options in Inner Sea Gods, leaving the obediences from Book of the Damned II as interesting developmental artifacts, not as further design space.

The map folio is scheduled, at this time, to have maps of Kintargo, Vyre, and Ravounel (the northwestern Archduchy of Cheliax that includes those two cities). There will NOT be a map of Cheliax in this AP's map folio, although I'd expect one to appear in the next for Hell's Vengeance.
Devils Revisited is very very very very unlikely to happen.
The ONLY reason Demons Revisited happened was because I wanted to write it. Wes is our resident devil, and he's pouring his devil energies into other projects to support the AP. The "Revisited" line was already in semi-retirement when Demons Revisited went on the schedule, and there are no plans to do more books in the line at this point, due to the fact that the revisited books were selling more and more slowly with each one that came out, alas.

Mahathallah fleshed out? My dread gnome necromancer is going to love the extra info. Hoping for traits/feats/abilities to use in PFS!
She'll be as fleshed out as any other deity article. Which means an obedience page for sure, but not a lot else. They're mostly flavor articles, not rules articles.

Is there any hope of specific half-devil adjustments to the half-fiend template ala Demons Revisited? Even just a blog post or something? Maybe an article in one of the 2 "Hell's ****" APs?

No plans at all; not even a blog post. Devils don't mix with humans as frequently in that way, so there's less of an in-world call for this, but just as you can use the information from the start of Demons Revisited where it talks about how to build half-demons of any of the demons who AREN'T the 10 detailed in that book, you can do the exact same thing for devils or any other fiend. Same goes for Half-celestial in fact.

While I've got you on the line, any hints on draconic bloodlines? The player's guide sort of implies they'll face a blue. I'm guessing one of the others would be a bronze (and probable ally of the Hellknights of the Torrent)? Or would draconic be a bad bloodline choice for reasons that will later become clear?

There's not really one bloodline that's better or worse than the other. There ARE dragons involved in the AP, but they're not a full-on focus of it.

Looks like the map of Ravounel got scrapped for a second Kintargo map...
How about a "Player Companion: Devil Slayer´s Handbook"? ;-)
Thx for answering JJ :-)

So I take it that wasn't a generic Hellknight of the Torrent on #98, and Jackdaw, Shensen, and Strea will be on the remaining covers?

Correct; we decided that since so much of the AP takes place in Kintargo that it'd be better to offer two different styles of city map for the city... a classic one that looks like the one in the Player's Guide, and a more illustrative one that works better as an in-world map of the city.

That's not a generic Hellknight on the cover of #98; it's Lictor Octavio Sabinus, the leader of the Order of the Torrent.
The character on the cover of #100 will be Shensen. Jackdaw and Strea will not be on any covers; the characters on the last two are still secrets.

I'd tell you, but mine hasn't shipped yet. I would be be really awesome if it did today, since I got both Hell's Bright Shadow and Turn of the Torrent in the mail this week, but I may be waiting until next week. Personally, I'm hoping Todd has more Proteans or Daemons in store for us, but we'll see.
