Hi there,
my group is starting CC next week and I'd like to play a paladin specialized in killing the living dead, of course. Being new to PF, I've found the two archetypes undead scourge and oathbound (against Undead) and now can't decide which one to take -- some advise is highly appreciated.
Thanks!

Can you tell us what the rest of your group is playing? I don't want to step on your concept at all, but as someone who has run this Path, I don't think you will need any extra specialization (beyond what paladins normally have). The feat Sure Grasp, maybe. :)
I do agree with the Captain, though - avoid the Oath against Undeath for Carrion Crown. I'm about to crack down on someone for taking the Oath against Fiends in WotR...

A possibility you may not have considered is that you could start your character as a standard paladin, then later take oaths appropriate to the missions your character find herself on.
Paladins who take up an oath may make a sacred promise to their god or temple to perform some specific and grand action associated with the oath. For example, an oathbound paladin who takes the Oath of Vengeance may be tasked with killing the orc warlord who razed her home city, while a paladin with the Oath against the Wyrm may be asked to secure a nonaggression pact with a family of dragons. When a paladin completes the sacred promise, the oath is fulfilled, and she may abandon the oath if she so chooses; she may then select another oath or become a standard paladin or a different paladin archetype.
So if the first part of the adventure path is a mission to clear out goblins from an abandon mine (spoiler: it isn't), you make a sacred promise to drive them out, then take Oath Against Savagery. When you've cleared the mine out and so fulfilled your promise, you revert to a standard paladin, and in the second part of the adventure you're free to take an Oath of Chastity in order to hunt down a succubus. Or whatever.
