Vault of Wonders: Intelligent Items (PFRPG) PDF

Not all treasures are created equal. Sometimes a GM needs something more than an ordinary magic sword or piece of random loot, and intelligent items are a perfect way to make any treasure hoard more memorable. This supplement contains five items, designed to be useful for a variety of character levels and classes. Each item contains background lore, game statistics, roleplaying notes, and adventure hooks.

• Bird of Prey: An evil heavy pick, with a menacing demeanor; hell-bent on slaughter.
• The Dancing Girl: A clever mechanical toy coveted by many, with a sinister side.
• Guardian: A magical shield with great protective properties, willing to defend its owner...but not very happy about it..
• Ring of the Soul: An ancient gift from an extinct race of ancient beings, the Ring exists to please its owner; adapting its own alignment and abilities to compliment the wearer.
• Yol-Sul, the Blood Memoires: An old and vile book, penned in blood by a mysterious author, said to predate all other Fiendish races; containing great power, and long-forgotten lore.
