The Nymian Beastlands by Krewe of Harpocrates

This product is 26 pages long. It starts with a cover, credits, and ToC. (2 1/2 pages)

Introduction (11 ½ pages)
The introduction talks about the setting and what to expect in the future. It should be noted this is a free players playtest guide for the future the setting. It has a few paragraphs about the people of Omarka, ecology, and mysteries of the setting. Next it gives a overview of the 7 planned books for the setting. A players guide, GM guide, 3 monster books, Races and Secrets book. With a rough timeline of when the books are planned to be released. It has a small section talking about what will or will not be OGL and why.

This is followed by talking about who the books are for, how you can use them. What good are they for people that play in homebrew campaigns and a section of how to use this with Golarion the Pathfinder world. They are asking for playtesters to help them out, there is a section on play testing and how to get involved in it and what they want from playtesters. There is 3 new feats, two are ok. One Lies within Lies was very clever and a very good feat.

Equipment (3 pages)
This section has a handful of new equipment to be found in the new setting. As well as a few new animal companions that fit the setting.

For some reason in the middle of the equipment chapter is one page of expected stats for monsters by CR, 3 pages of forms to fill out for playtesting. I honestly have no idea why they was put here instead of at the very end of the book. (3 pages)

Misc
The last section has a few new options in it. Two feats for lizardfolk, three feats for boggard/frogs, a Rakshasa Sorc Bloodline(I felt it was a bit strong), two new domains Juju(seemed inspired by Voodoo) and Ancestral Domain. Two new Subdomains Philosophy and Enlightenment.

It ends with a OGL.

Closing thoughts, There is 2 copies of this product, a color nice looking very pretty copy. The problem with it, is that it is laid out in 2 page format making it hard to print or read in PDF format. The artwork in the product is good. Then there is a black and white version that is in single page format. The final bit is the 3 forums for play testing separate in a fallible and saveable PDF format. I didn't notice any major errors and it was pretty well written. My on major problem with the product was layout. I just honestly is not laid out great. The part with the forms in the middle of the equipment chapter was the worse part but some of the rest could have been laid out better I think.

All the playtest forums and comments on what they want etc should have all been put at the back I feel. It would have made it much easier to read and would have made a more sense layout wise. This is a ambitious project and it sounds like it will be a interesting setting. Which seems to be a lost prehistoric world setting in a steamy jungle like environment. So I am curious to see what the company comes up with in the future. I think this is worth picking up. I mean it is free. If the idea of this appeals to you, you should jump on the playtesting and get some further material to help them playtest it out. I am giving it a 3.5 star review, it is free so I can forgive the layout a bit. For the finish product they need to work on that. I recommend checking it out though, you have nothing to lose.

So I wanted to post some feedback on the Rakshasa bloodline in the book.

First, the bloodline arcana gives you a +1 bonus to Charisma when you use a polymorph spell. This should be a +2 bonus - odd-numbered bonuses aren't guaranteed to grant an increased ability score modifier, and so aren't used. Also, I recommend saying that this is an enhancement bonus, otherwise it'll stack with eagle's splendor to really skyrocket the save DC's on the sorcerer's spells.

The Touch of the Deceiver power seems much too strong. Since it can be used without limit, and lasts for multiple rounds, it can seriously impede enemies with notable ease. I'd recommend dropping the multi-round effect (e.g. have it last for 1 round only, just like the lesser confusion spell), and have the ability be usable a number of times per day equal to 3 + Charisma bonus.

The Mind Reader power is a little awkward in that it's uses per day relies on the sorcerer's Intelligence modifier; that's not a very important ability score for sorcerers, so this won't ever be very high. I'd recommend making it either reliant on Charisma, or making its uses per day a static number (e.g. not dependent on an ability score bonus).

Finally, for Body of the Living Evil, the flavor text description is a little odd. Does "take on a new form, gaining a human or animal head" mean that your head changes while your body stays the same? Also, presumably most characters are already humanoid, so saying they could gain a human head seems rather redundant.

Finally, I've added this product to my Sorcerer Bloodline Database. It's the second rakshasa bloodline, the first being a web release from Kobold Quarterly.

Alzrius is right - there is some nudity in this guidebook, and as a general rule we will be allowing artistically sound nudity in this series. Although there is some more sound rationality behind it, my basic thoughts on the topic are: animals and beasts compose a large amount of the elements behind this setting, and they run around nude every day without anyone making a fuss. Beyond this, the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game materials, especially those such as City of Strangers, seem to have no fear of presenting mature content - and that is what we are aiming for; maturity. In that light, there will be some nudity in the series, along with some 'mature' content - anyone who can handle living in the real world should be able to handle the material in these products.

And, for the record, Ursula from The Little Mermaid was Vaughn's inspiration for this piece, and he takes great pride in the fact that Ursula would hate this woman for how much more beautiful she is than Ursula. I have to agree, because I enjoy her larger frame.

Alzrius - your input is phenomenal, and exactly what we are looking for: detailed, showing precedent and usefulness during gaming, and providing possible solutions or alternatives. I hope that everyone who reviews our content does the same. I will be taking this into consideration with the upcoming revisions on this Playtest Guide material, which will likely be released in a revised Playtest Pack before the final publications, which will take some time to finalize.

Great feedback, thank you very much!

Well naked artwork to me isn't really adult work. When i see adult work i think things like the old Black Dog line from White Wolf Publishing. To me thats adult work, or in more recent years the Book of Erotic Fantasy. To me nudity at most would be mature content, in fact I would likely just use a moving rating on it and say it is. Rated R - for nudity. So people know exactly why, since what adult means varies from person to person.

While it is true that opinions vary on this (and many other) topics, the reality of it is from a publication standpoint that there are ratings.

"Does nudity or sexual content automatically make a book obscene?

No. The Supreme Court ruled in Jenkins v. Georgia that "nudity alone is not enough to make material legally obscene under the Miller standards," even when sex acts are indirectly simulated. But certain direct, nude portrayals of sexual activity ("hardcore" images) may be patently offensive and/or prurient according to the community standards of some jurisdictions. Such images may constitute “obscenity” if they have no serious literary, artistic, political or scientific value."

Yes but my only point was, that posting a image of a bare breast is not adult connect. Obviously the law should be obeyed. I was merely saying most people tend to think of adult as XXX rated, and saying it is adult might be giving people the wrong opinion about the product.

To be quite honest, I discussed this at length with my illustrators and have decided it is worth the risk to present the material as it is created, including nudity or other material. Personal preferences aside, I knew by including this image it would lead to this rating and categorization - but a larger point is that no matter what age or accessibility, if someone wants a product they will find a way to get it... So to me, the rating thing is really more of an obstacle for children than a generalization of our material. In any case, it is my personal hope that the more 'mature' viewers will be the ones to get involved, for the simple fact that I would prefer anyone who gets involved in playtesting to be "mature" about whatever it deals with, nudity, sex, drugs, and rock & roll aside.

That said, I know it is a little asinine... But any chance we could move beyond it as quickly as possible? It really is more of a semantic of the publishing world rather than a generalization of our material.

I would much prefer to hear what you think of the flavor, substance, and crunch of the guide, including your thoughts on these amazing illustrations I was blessed to be able to include. Not to be rude, but it is much less worthwhile to see a debate about the artistic-ness of nudity, etc., than it is to see feedback about the actual content. We at the Krewe are all very excited to hear what people think about this free product. And Dark_Mistress, I am glad you bit - are you?

I skimmed it a bit, but I am behind in my reviews again. So I have not given it a indepth read yet but I will. Honestly right now there is 5 products I need to get reviewed before I do this. I am hoping to have at least 2 or 3 of them done by the time the weekend is over. Now I might read it before then and post comments but nothing real indepth like I try to do with my reviews till the other stuff is done.

This is a technical thing, rather than focusing on the material in the book, but I really wish it was laid out using a single-page view, instead of two-page.

As it is now, save for the front cover and OGL on the last page, all of the pages are in a two-page view even when I have Acrobat Reader set to single-page continuous view, meaning that I can't alter the viewing layout to display only one page at a time.

The result of this is that the text appears rather small, since I'm seeing two pages worth of material at once. I could zoom in to a specific section of a page to make it easier to read, but then I'm having to scroll left and right across the pages, as well as up and down, and that's a hassle to deal with.

Is it possible to re-release the playtest document in a single-page format?

I see what you mean, Alzrius. Since I will be doing another upload at the time of the print-on-demand version release, I can do this. I was not aware or ready for that option, but I can make it available, especially if Reader already has an option to allow for it. I was thinking screen-size readability - not Adobe Reader options. Thanks for that. I won't make that available right away, but it will be on the dish of to-do's.

Well it's not a duty so much as. I felt when i started doing review their was a lack of well done indepth reviews that really told you about products before buying them. Many reviews are vague and just tell you what the reviewer likes. So I started doing my own, listing unbiased information first. Then adding a closing thoughts which is how I personally felt about the product.

Mostly I have just done a few reviews 3pp products for Pathfinder.

Ok I started reading this today but it's going to take me awhile. i have to agree with Alzrius with the layout the text even on my not to small wide screen monitor is small enough to cause eye strain. Which in turn makes it hard to read for very long.

What I was able to read this morning did seem well written. But I only got a couple of pages in before I had to take a break.

ok - taking care of the spread formatting is on my list of revisions for the next upload. I already had to do one major update because of some huge follies I missed, so I am going to wait a little while before I do the next one... Likely when I get the print version ready and uploaded. We are going to add a few maps, and a blank Playtester Notes page to fill the extra necessary pages for that version, so there will be some additional material in it. Not what I was aiming for, but that's how it worked out. ;) I appreciate the insights, everyone - very, very, very helpful. :D

I will for sure be editing the layout in the next upload to have a single-page spread, since the Adobe options already allow for a spread view, but cannot un-do that option.

I have also since copied Alzrius' input regarding the rakshasa sorcerer bloodline. There seems to be some elements that I must have overlooked - thought I had those covered, but I was rushing to get things done when I placed that portion in the document.

The 'adult' content came up before, and it brings to mind: would there be someone that you might share this with if it DID NOT have the adult content whom you might not share because of it, someone who will probably be offended or put off by this artwork? I ask because I am biased on this subject as an artist who often depicts nudity and other "taboos" in fine arts, and because of the input I have been given so far. I would like to know how people really feel about it, though. My assumptions all day long will make no difference, if not based in fact.

From the art? No, I can't think of a single person... well other than my mom, but she is kinda radical about nudity... that I wouldn't show the book too. It would have to be very graphic before I think it would bother myself or any of my friends, gamers or otherwise.

...so, anyway...

Will, thanks for the brownie point! I'm glad to have been able to offer helpful feedback to improve your product. It looks like it's really going places, so I'm pleased to have been able to get in on the proverbial ground floor to help tweak it. With luck, I'll be able to look over the book in some more detail and post more feedback soon.

Also, for what it's worth, I GM a Pathfinder game for a mixed-gender group, and I wouldn't feel uncomfortable showing the book to the other players at the table with the "adult" content seen so far. I'm personally in favor of art displaying a world with logic and internal consistency with regards to nudity (and everything else, for that matter); a gynosphinx, for example, does not wear a sports bra.

Alzrius: seconded.

Actually, this particular issue made me dislike all the more Disney's Little Mermaid version. They massacred original, admittedly dark and somewhat pessimistic story, and to add insult to this, made her wear seashell bikini top.

Oh, and speaking of artful and suggestive pictures, here is link to Wikipedia's copy of a cover for Hans Christian Andersen's for Little Mermaid (cover author: Edmund Dulac).

Looking at the special ability granted by the tarsier familiar - that its master's low-light vision is increased by one multiple - I have to ask what effect this has on creatures that don't have low-light vision (e.g. humans). Does it have no effect, or do they gain standard low-light vision?

Liberty's Edge

You are ambitious. I hope everything works out well for you with this project.

I like the fact that you’ve included the various other OGL PF publishers in your playtest.

My first question is, should you add the trademark symbol to the various RPGs you mention. Also, is Paizo okay with you referencing Golarion and if yes I believe even in a playtest document you would want to reference their ownership of any terms that are closed content and your permission to use them. Your OGL did list many books from which you drew Open Content but I don’t believe that covers Closed Content or the copyrighted names of RPGs.

My second thought is, is the setting really going to include nuclear tech, quantum tech, droids, etc. in addition to magic, samurais, psionics, and spiritual magic? Because that is a lot of stuff.

I quickly read over the playtest document and a few things jumped right out at me. The many skill rank requirements for the majority of feats is going to make getting those feats a real pain. The Core Rulebook rarely uses skill ranks as a prerequisite unless it really fits with the feat (like Master Craftsman).

The weapons on page 16 are too powerful. A martial one-handed weapon that does 1d10 damage and criticals on an 18-20 is extremely better than a longsword. The katana is much better than a bastard sword. And the taiaha lists two sets of damage even though it is a two-handed weapon.

Also, the special bonus to hit and damage for the wakizashi and the katana doesn’t make sense to me. Simply carrying both weapons gives additional bonuses? Why?

I like the new races but will have to carefully read the mechanics over before commenting. Racial hit dice combined with race feats sounds like a sound way to represent monster PCs at first glance.

Alzrius: humans would get standard low-light vision; I believe that was a detail of the original text that had to be deleted for space.

Black Steel: I am a madman, that's all. Those things (tech stuff, etc.) will be introduced in the setting, and many elements playtested prior to publication. I don't want to reveal any more than that.

The TM issue is one that deserves action, and not an answer. I was not keeping those things in mind, however since I suspect someone at Paizo gives it a general look-over, I would have received some word stressing those things. To be sure, I will send an email and begin the discussion personally. Thanks for the important consideration. As to the other publishers, I simply used their names (denoted by formatting) as examples for players and GMs who might encounter someone coming to the table with something outside of the playtesting control scope - all modesty was taken to make sure that we would not be viewed as trying to play off anyone else. Some of these publishers make products I enjoy and with which I am familiar, so it's really more of addressing a circumstance in life more than promotion - like when a little kid tells you when someone else swears. :P

The word, 'Golarion' was also used almost expressly in situations where a named world was more understandable - or else, where substituting it for "the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game default setting" or something similar was critical for formatting and space. It says in the license every time you mention a product it must have the full name, and no "Pathfinder RPG" or similar. Avoiding this is difficult when you're trying to cut down word count. Revisions by editor, Chris Coyle, sometimes included a higher word count or clarified explanation, and I was pushing back against that concern for most of the middle portion of the document, excluding the OGL, Feedback Forms, and Appendix pages.

Oh, and I will have to re-examine the disclaimer on the Credits Page to make sure the rest is covered, although I believe it is according to what I have read here: http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/compatibility

I will have to give the other items some more consideration. you asked me about the bonus to sunder, I believe - that is an element drawn from the cultural style and previous descriptions I read of the samurai swords. Similarly, that version was printed in Kobold Quarterly, which I suspect meant that it was of some sort of sound balance in gaming. The big thing is that they are a pair - used as a pair, and there should be some setback to using one individually, for reverse psychology's sake, I guess. Perhaps the bonus should be a circumstance bonus?

Remember folks, if you're playtesting this we would greatly appreciate any and all feedback. It should be sent to me using the playtest feedback documents: krh.blackfang@gmail.com

Thank you for the help everybody!

We don't have time to review every product produced under the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Compatibility License—we let the community let us know when they find problems. And this is a problem—the Compatibility License allows you to reference the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and the products listed in Exhibit B (which are all from the Core RPG line), but it doesn't allow you to use any other trademarks, or anything we've declared as Product Identity. So you'll need to remove any references to Golarion, Paizo, the Pathfinder Society, and anything else in that vein.

(I'll also send you this in an e-mail just to be sure you see it...)

For anyone wondering about the status of the revisions necessary to cooperate with the OGL and PFCL, they are in the process right now, and I hope to have them updated on the sites in the next 1-2 days, if all goes well.

All playtesting activities may still take place during this time. Along with a cover design for the print version and revised maps for an additional three pages of content necessary for printing, I am attempting to home some work done on material for upcoming TNB Playtest Packs and related game material to be available for group playtesting in addition to the current player options available now.

I am hoping to have Dinosaurs part 1, some player races (Orokai, Nezumi, Cougaran, Canitian, Hominids), and a compilation of creatures ready for Playtest Packs first up after our print version and accompanying digital revision are finalized. We appreciate patience during these lengthening revisions, but rest assured it will be worthwhile (especially while we trudge through the vagaries and intricacies of the OGL and our licensing agreements with others).

Since the 'Adult Content' is supposedly not bad enough to warrant the popular definition of mature content, and it is necessary to remove in order to continue to distribute this product, I will be having my grandmother look at the guide tonight to give me her recommendation. Yeah, I would do that - and more. :P

Any more thoughts from anyone during this time?

Ok I muddled threw the current copy. It seems pretty well written. The art is fair to good. Editing seemed pretty good, though with me reading it in small spurts it is hard to remember. I had no issues with the "adult" content. Nor would I have issues letting anyone else see such a book. My only real complaint and it is a big one, was the layout. The dual page was just a bear to read. Also you should included a print friendly version. The background and boarders while looking nice would be brutal on a printer and for play testing it would really help to be able to print it out.

Thanks for the great feedback, Mistress. ;) The upcoming revision (necessary for the TM issues) will be fixed to not have the 2-page spread option, so that both files are like the print-friendly version..... Which begs the question, "did your file download not have a print-friendly version in it?" Because it should have. It should have three files: a full-color "pretty" doc, a low-ink version great for printing and fast playtesting reference, and a PDF of feedback forms which are editable form fields. If those three files are not in a zip folder in your original download, then I would like to know what you got in the download? Thanks,

Maybe it glitched. *shrug* Don't know I do know I now have all three files.

PS UG! I wish I would have checked sooner to see if their was more files in the zip. the B&W copy is single page format. That would have been SO much easier to read.

So Mistress, are you or have you had time to do a review on the current doc, or are you going to wait for our print release and v.1.0 update? I'm sure you have been very busy - we all have. I just wonder because we have had no reviews (even pro reviews from RPGnow, since I'm sure they are similarly busy as hell), and aside from Alzrius' input on the Sorcerer Bloodline, we have had no feedback or registered playtesters as yet.

I am preparing some maps for the very final update when readying for print (they will go up at the same time, and pending my final review of the print product, will be official for the playtesting period prior to our first full book. I am hoping to have a couple Playtest Packs of material ready in the coming weeks on some player races, so that the kick-off officially has a solid goal beyond the tidbits in this guide. Much more to come.

As I said before, the upcoming revision will include another three pages of content, including several new maps (you can see my screen shot updates on my facebook profile), a new minotaur illustration, a space for playtester notes and universal map key elements, and a beautifully designed cover featuring Bonnie's awe-inspiring 'Kami of the Sacred Gate' and some spectacular co-op design work for the rest of the visual elements on the cover. I'm really proud of the illustrators for overcoming some major obstacles and personal challenges, and I'm looking forward to the continuing work on this project. I think it's going to turn out really spectacular, especially with some valid playtester feedback.

Glad I could put the spark back in the fire pit. :) In any case, if you would like to hold off until after the print version is together, there will be additional pages of material and a PDF/print bundle will be offered... Plus a beautiful cover design that I just love. :D But it's up to you. The revision should hopefully be out before the end of the month - a topography map is killing me right now. Are you on facebook at all by any chance, Mistress?

So, I am a little bummed that no one has registered to playtest yet - but in response to this lack in action after an amazing number of downloads in the first month, we plan to begin releasing our playtest material in full very soon.

To give everyone an idea of what's to come very soon:

  • Playtest Pack 01: Races of Omarka 1 (Feb. 12):
    - Felynne, Cougaran
    - Canitian
    - Anakim, Orokai
    - Nezumi
    - Minotaur, Minoan
    - Hominids (Human, Pygmy, Neanderthal)
  • Playtest Pack 02: Friend or Foe 1 (Feb. 26):
    - Anubisian, Jackal Warrior
    - Fae, Selkie
    - Kami, Sacred Gate
    - Kami, Temperate Woods
    - Merfolk, Octimerrae
    - Sedu
    - Angel, Seraphim
  • Playtest Pack 03: Dinos/Prims 1 (Mar. 5):
Baryonyx, Dilophosaurus, Giganotosaurus, Megaraptor, Spinosaurus, Torvosaurus, Microceratops, Pachyrhinosaurus, Protoceratops, Torosaurus, Coelurus, Troodon, Utahraptor, Apatosaurus (Brontosaurus), Diplodocus, Massospondylus, Titanosaurus, Kentrosaurus, Nodosaurus, Scelidosaurus
  • Playtest Pack 04: Verdant Ones 1 (Mar. 12):
    - Bladegrass
    - Greater Giant Flytrap
    - Fae, Pokap
    - Flytrap, Trapling

These dates are tentative based on productivity and sales, but these are what we are aiming for to begin the playtesting season for Omarkan Ecology I: Thunder Lizards & Legends. I hope people will hop on board and get things rolling to get some free playtesting materials in the future!

We are also working on the final stages of the printed guide, which has seen some major setbacks in the last month. This will coincide with our final planned revision to the Playtest Guide text until after playtesting has truly begun to take place beyond my own here at home.

    Best wishes, all!

If I had time I would, but since my group due to RL has now not played in 2 months that seems unlikely.

On a side note this is top of my list for next review. So hopefully have it done later tonight if I finish it before bed or likely tomorrow.

    Liberty's Edge

I would love to playtest this, although perhaps in a piecemeal fashion; the concept is similar to a game I am planning myself, and I am excited to see more material released. So don't feel bummed. I for one am excited to see where this is going! :)

I would register to playtest, but I have no idea when (or even if) I will be able to actually start playing. But perhaps reading these playtest documents will inspire me enough to kick my players into action. ;)

Looks great so far though! Perhaps at the very least I could give you some (on-paper) comments about the mechanics and such. I've never written a review before though...

Dark_Mistress, you rock: it could have been 1 star and I would have been happy. ;) I will take into account your mention of the layout. For now, this entire publication was a mish-mash project, and the layout began feeling more like a magazine to me than a finalized book. The Playtest Packs will NOT be laid out like this, but much more clean with fewer artworks to break the layout, OGL at the very back, etc. Similarly, the final books are on a much more planned design standard.

You may even find that our upcoming revision may make it feel ever more disconcerting due to the addition of pages - but I may do a final shift-around if the page-spread layouts are still effective in another order.

Alice: thank you, and I know how you feel. I have noticed a few people say things here and there about some ideas I have been wanting to mash-up for some time now. I decided I could do it right with this setting in particular. I think anyone who has similar imaginative ideas to me will find this setting superbly intriguing as both a player and a storyteller - and then others will find it later. I am not wimping out on the content, I promise.

I guess I should mention: if you register, there is nothing saying that you are on any time limits, save for those written on any coupons we provide for registered playtesters (or after you send feedback back in to us). In any case, I am looking forward to more activity once we have some of these Playtest Packs available as well. These will not be free products, however: they will be inexpensive ($1-3$, depending on artwork included, amount of new materials, etc.), with discount coupons for registered playtesters, and free-product coupons for those who send back in feedback on Playtest Pack materials (at least 1/3 of the material included should have some form of review to get this credit, but it will not require the entire Packs).

And Dark_Mistress: just to be clear after reading your excellent review: it's not all steamy jungles, but that's good enough for a basic idea to begin with. People will remember jungles full of dinosaurs. :P

    Thanks all, and best wishes!

I wasn't sure what all would be in the setting. I just knew for sure that part of it would have that. While I can't playtest, if the stuff is cheap enough I will try and pick it up and then give you general reviews. Might help get others to buy them and then join in the playtest.

I believe you are correct in that. Reviews are a big way to get someone else's opinion without knowing someone who has it. ;) Even if they are bad, they give an insight into the experiences of someone who has read it, and what might not be one person's big deal might be just what another was looking for - and found it in a bad (0 or 1-star) review.

I'm not sure about on here, but I know that RPGN/DTRPG (OneBookshelf) has established reviewers, and that might be a good fit if it's something that works out. Otherwise, I can give a discount coupon for you to review products - at least through there. Without a paid product, on this site I am limited on the information I can glean from its distribution. Apparently, products without prices are not worthy of marketing data about them around here.... >.> Oh well. No worries. Very soon - I am going to haul ass on Races of Omarka PP1 so we can have something viable beyond the free guide, giving others a reason to purchase the print product (plus, I at least want one for myself and a few for local signings, and my illustrators want a few so they can do signings in their local areas as well).

I will consider your input for the layout in the final draft - but I can't promise that it will be sectioned like a normal book of its length. But we'll see.

Yeah it always helps to get reviewers to review your stuff. Doesn't matter who the reviewer is, as long as they do a indepth review to let possible customers know about it. Different companies use different reviewers.

Can I use you, Mistress? :) I promise I'll treat you nicely. lol

PS: for the record, I'm a guy but I'm gay, so it's all in jest. You remind me of other fun, sexy girls I like to mess with, so I suspect you're cool. :P ;)

Seriously, though - having a reviewer to look at our stuff while it comes out (and that I can count on) would be a good thing. Feel like being a part of the periphery of our Krewe? All are welcome. ;) I can't imagine it should be any more difficult for me to pull off to do that so you can get a copy of our material for this purpose...
