Really Useful

5/5

These (along with the rest of the spell decks and feat deck) I find as both a GM and player to be really useful and well worth the price.

I have seen and heard complaints about each spell being on a single sheet and only being able to print one spell per page. Now there is a trick to this and personally I like this format so much more than if they were to put six to nine spells on a single sheet.

The trick is you have to tell your printer to print multiple pages on a single sheet. Now the reason I like this is that I can also tell it to only print certain pages.

So as a Sorcerer, Bard, or any other spontaneous caster with a limited number of spells known I can just select the spells I know to appear on the sheet that prints. So I only print the spells I need. This also works for a Wizards spell book, Alchemists formulae book, Witch's familiar, or if you only use certain spells out of your list Druid, Ranger, Paladin, etc.

Overall these are great and I recommend them to anyone who plays or deals with spellcasters frequently.

OK, I'll post this here too:

Just got these (ordered them from RPG before they were available here...grrr...too fast).

Looking at them, for the price they are VERY nice. I especially like:

>B&W with simple lines and easy to read font

>No distracting artwork

>Arranged by by level, alphabetically (so the level 0 spells are first, in alphabetical order, then the level 1 spells, etc.) Makes it easy to pick new spells

>six to a page (most of the time) makes them cheap to print out and easy to organise in a folder (A few of the spells take up extra space for the necessary descriptions)

I think the price is right and even though I own the hardcover PFRPG and PFPDF, this is worth it to me.

So, LJP, when are we going to see the rest of them?

Well, it tool longer than expected to do these so I don't want to make any crazy promises but I hope soon.

How easily could one print these to card-stock, cut them out and keep them in a card box? How large are the standard sized cards? Are they double-sided? Are the cards with text too long to fit on a standard sized card easily folded?

At 100%, looks like these are 3 1/2 " w X 4" h. (Look at the example above...thats the first page). With a little page adjustment, you could probably print them on stock if you reduced them 60%.

They'd still be readable, if a bit oddly shaped at that level.

LJP, doing the next set in a card-sized mode would be a nice improvement in my opinion.

Still, well worth the price.

The short ones are roughly 3.25 inches wide by 3.75 inches long.

The long ones are roughly 3.25 inches wide by 8 inches long.

No. All the info fits on one side.

Yes

Due to the amount of info on some of the spells, it really makes it difficult to make them still readable if you do the font small than we have. I would love to have them on a card as small as a playing card where you could also see the type easily. Thanks for the support!

The Exchange

Not sure about getting these as they can't all be printed on the same size card. What about doing some editing of the text of the spells to condense down to just the necessary facts and a page number for reference in the PFRPG if needed?
